Just verifying this. We always get the DDP, whether free or paid. (Been free for a few years now though).

This year, our daughter is booked as a 10 year old. I understand she will now\finally be able to choose from the adult menu for both CS and TS meals correct? I actually asked the CM I spoke with the other day when changing a resort reservation this, and they were not sure.

Just want to verify, as I don't think she can do another trip eating off the kids menu, LOL.

Thanks!

Yes, she is 10 which means (for DDP and ticketing purposes) you pay for the adult plan and she eats as an adult.

Thanks, that's how I understood it, but with the free dining, as I didn't actually pay for it, I just wanted to verify. :)

Even with free - it doesn't matter because you are required to purchase her an adult ticket - that (and her age of course) are what determine that she is an adult for DDP.

Yes, only at Disney is a 10 year old considered an adult. My son really enjoyed the larger portions and broader choices of the adult menu, but every once in awhile, I was paying adult prices for him to order a kids meal. Oh well.
