Magic Kingdom… here we come BABY!

So we woke up on our first full day at WDW nice and early and ready to go!!! In the same fashion as our previous 2 years I woke first and got Mini and myself ready. Once our showers were done I sent the boys (Forest and Ry) in to shower and got all their clothes ready for the day. After we were all ready I woke DH and he got showered and ready to go while I got the strollers and all that fun stuff packed up and ready to go.


We made a pit stop for a quick breakfast at the Pop Food Court … normal fare.. nothing exciting.

We took the bus this day to Magic Kingdom. A very packed bus I might add. DH didn’t like that very much and stated that from now on we will be driving to Magic Kingdom. Whatever makes him happy.

We missed rope drop by just a few minutes which is perfectly OK with us and quickly moved our way to Dumbo.. our traditional first ride… DH rode with Ry … I rode with Mini … Forest rode alone… perfectly ok with that.

After Dumbo we noticed that Ariel’s Grotto was already open and there was no wait at all so we made our way over as Mini really really loves her some Ariel. She also wanted to show her the Ariel Dress I’d made for her to wear on this day.

After our time “under the sea” we decided to hit some more rides… Kid pleasing rides… so we started off with Winnie the Pooh ride… We all love this ride very much!!

After our rumbly tumbly time we moved on to the next ride over… Snow white… A good time was had by all and the seat companions remained the same…

After that we of course moved on to the next ride over… Peter Pan… which had a bit of a line

And….while we waited Mini HAD to pee… so she and I left the line while the boys rode… I noticed as we were leaving the Dream Team was handing out FP’s … sadly… the boys didn’t get one as they were gone by the time they got off

No pictures of that ride as I was not on it and DH didn’t feel like taking pictures at the moment.

With potty break completed and boys off the ride we went under the tunnel by Columbia Harbor House and went on one of our favorites… It was now that Mini decided she is “afraid” because of the tombstones and such… I told her it was one of her “Prince” Javen’s favorites so she sucked it up and went on it… And LOVED it! Sorry… No pictures here as I was too busy making sure she didn’t freak out.

We moved thru Frontier land and headed over to Splash Mountain. DH and Forest rode it while Mini, Ry and I waited at the little Playground they have near the exit.

By now it is about 45 minutes before our late breakfast at Crystal Palace so we explored our way over there… and may or may not have ridden Pirates on the way… I think we didn’t however as I always take some shots while we are there and I have none. We did however make a stop at one of my favorite places.. Aloha Isle… Gotta have me a dole whip any chance I can get…

After enjoying a nice treat we made our way over the bridge to check in at Crystal Palace… What a zoo that is!! DH waited as far away from the crowds as possible while I checked us in.

Yay! She's back!!!!

The kids look so cute in their cool outfits! You did a great job! I love the Dumbo pic...soooo sweet! Too bad about the Dream Team. I never saw them! We won some "dreams" but as far as I know it was just junk they did...I never saw someone dressed up or anyone that called themselves that. Now I'll never get to sleep inside that castle!

So..have ya heard anything about the resy of those 90210 peeps? Is anyone else going to come on the new show? I wish they all would!

Just wanted to let you all know I might be scarce the next week or so as my last grandparent... grandpa leroy... passed away just after midnight.... I have yet to sleep and I got up at 4:30 yesterday mornin.... So if I am not around... which I may still be around as I'll probably be at my dads but i can get connected there too... It's a tough loss for the family and my step mom is gonna need lots of loving in the days to come as she was very close to her dad.

You got that right! I never would have considered going for spring break (crowds? expensive flights?? $135 a night for value resort???), but that 4/3 got me good.

I go in 20 something days....then in August.

Looks like we'll miss your next trip, but maybe in August our paths will cross? BTW, this is OT, but I posted an update on your "new mug" thread--better go check it out. . . .

Man, I so want to be there on at least one of our birthdays, but none of the dates will work. Depending on your dates and mine, maybe we'll see each other, and maybe you'll be leaving as we're arriving (again).

what are you exact dates for August? There's a bunch of us going then. I might extend out trip...I was going to go early but why not add some days to the end...get more dining? Do you have an old trip report somewhere? Thanks for posting the cups...they're nice! I did the CS dining for one day...so I'll get four of them!
