Again.not pins, but have to share my good news.

Ok, here I go again. But you all are my best friends, I have to share all my good news with you first. I am so excited.
You all have heard that I am going to WDW from Nov 6th to the 12th. I am planning a suprise birthday party for my sister and bringing my dad, who has not flown since Korea.
Here is the pin part, I will be at the Contemporary on Nov 9th AFTER I get my Festival of the Masters pin for Cynthia.

When I got home from our little Ct meet last night I had a phone call from my nephew in the Navy. He has been stationed "somewhere" I asked him last night where he was and he could not tell me. Well, he is getting sent home on Nov. 5th. He has not told his mom or dad. He is going directly to Orlando and will stay at a hotel that night. He will meet us on the 6th at the restaraunt and be part of the suprise for his mother. I am so excited. Not only will my dad be there, but Kathy's youngest son too. I can't wait.
By the way, Kathy thinks I am going to a pin convention and Cynthia and Leslie are going to come the next day. I told Kathy I want to take her out to dinner for her birthday. I couldn't find a restaraunt that would please a large group so I let Kathy chose where she wanted to eat her birthday meal. She chose Bomba at AK so we have ressies there. Thanks for all the suggestions though, I do appreciate it. Peggie

Just had to add this new news. When my son heard that his cousin will be home he wanted to go too. I just booked him on Southwest RT for $109. He will be flying out with us, and coming home on his own on the 8th.

Having some very close friends in the military, I got choked up reading your post here. Have a great time! What wonderful surprises you have for your sister! Remember your nephew "cannot confirm or deny anything you ask." I grew up with that phrase & love to use it!

Caroline, I know my family won't come to the meet. They just don't understand the pin thing. They actually think I am crazy. Little do they know that we pin nuts are the only sane Disney fanatics.
I have already assigned the people who will be taking photos. They better all get the expresions on her face, this will be priceless. Peggie

Isn't it great to be a part of a family? Because of all of you I have an extended family, that I thought I would NEVER have. Didn't know how ya got one. I feel as sad for Brian Sullivan at the loss of his job as I do excitement for Peggie for getting her dad to fly after ???, 50 years?
How great I feel every time someone says they are including the "Pintrader's Pin Meet" at the Contemporary. Surprising your sister like this must be as exciting for you as it was for me when I pulled off that marriage proposal. It is breath-taking!!

If there is any way that I can help at all Peggie, please let me know. I will be glad to be of any assistance, photographer, coordinator behind the scenes, etc. REALLY looking forward to getting to see you all... maybe even BEFORE Friday night.
