Afterthought--Day 6--Downtown Disney

We were headed home--4 p.m. flight, 1:30 shuttle--no time for park, but time for a decent last meal at DTD. Went to Brennan's. Uh, service kinda (really!) slow. Food okay. Disappointing, actually. Food not on par with that you'd get in real New Orleans. Ah well.
At least the shopping was good. Picked up lots of unnecessary items at World of Disney (do I really need another antenna ball?) Told DD to tell DH to buy me a Tink sweatshirt for Christmas.
Took our pictures by all things Disney around the Hotel. Said our goodbyes to CM's who really seemed to care about us--at least showed the appropriate sympathy when I expressed sorrow about having to leave.
Tried to stop time, but no luck. Shuttle ride to airport was uneventful and sad.
Ah well--if not for the goodbyes, we wouldn't have the hellos!
So, adios, dear Disneyland. We'll be back. And next time we're renting a car and spending a good chunk of time seeing California, too.

Thanks for your reports! Did you also visit any other resorts ? What did you think about them ?

Hi! We didn't walk into the other resorts (PP and GC) but saw them from the outside. I wouldn't mind trying the GC next time--love its close proximity to CA. And I also just love trying new things. But we were so impressed with the DLH that we would recommend it and/or return in a heartbeat.
I just wanna go back!!!!

Thanks you for your reports. I am going there Dec for Christmas, I don't have to say next year andmore. I am going to Disneyland this year, YEAH!
