Anyone have any reviews of the afternoon tea at the GF? I am thinking about taking my DD (who will be 4) to this but want to make sure it would be appropriate for her. Thanks in advance. :goodvibes

My DH(35) and me(33) did this in December. It was so relaxing and fun. The perfect start to our trip. It looks like you're in someone's parlor. We each did the Buckingham and had so much fun trying all the items in it. There were people of all ages there so your DD should be fine. They even had a meeting of the Red Hat Society there when we went.

We took my DD (who was 4 last year) and she loved it! It's a bit pricy, but we did it instead of lunch to soften the blow a little. She's into all things girly, so it was right up her ally. I'd say, go for it!

I love afternoon tea! Its fantastic! The Grand tea is wonderful. You have tea, a plate of various sandwiches (gorgonzola and pear is wonderful), scone with cream and jam and trifle or cakes or strawberries.

They do however do a kids version called Mrs Potts tea (as in Beauty and the Beast). With this I believe you got peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and chocolate milk instead of the tea.

I think any little girl would love this as theyd feel like a grown up. They also served the chocolate milk in a tea pot when I saw some kids having it last time.

Have you looked at the Princess Tea they do at the Grand Floridian. Personally think its expensive but aimed at little girls.

Thank you all so much for the input. I think that my DD would love it too!

I actually did look at the Princess Tea, but at $225 I just think we could do so many other cool things for that price. That's why I was hoping that the Afternoon Tea would be a cute substitute and it definitely sounds like it is. Anyway, thank you again! :thumbsup2
