Afternoon snacks?

What are the options for a snack between about 2:00 and 4:00? I'd like something healthy for my kids (fruit, cheese, bread, yogurt.) Would I have to order from room service or does anywhere else have these? Mind you: the All Hands on Deck sounds great, but my kids would not eat the harsher cheeses.

At Scoops there is a fresh fruit bar (not sure of the hours) and my kids loved it!

On Deck 9 they serve fresh fruit at Scoops, as well as nuts to be used as toppings. I sometimes grab a few types of fruit and nuts and then order an AHOD--between all of that there's something for everyone. My kids aren't thrilled with blue or gorgonzola, but there's generally something a little more mild served with it as well.

I've seen yogurt at the breakfast buffets--maybe you could take a couple back to your room in the morning?

Thanks for the suggestions about fresh fruit and nuts at scoops and yogurt at breakfast. Those will be great!

I always had room service bring up a fruit bowl....I forget what it had in it exactly but there were apples, pears, kiwi and I am not sure what else but it was good for a snack.

You can also order cheese and crackers from room service. It is a great snack.

I'm sorry, I couldn't help giggling when I read "harsher cheeses".

I know what you meant but I kept picturing a cheese with a gravelly voice saying "whatsamatta you? Eat me already, willya?"

Scoops also has wraps. These are meat, cheese and/or vegetables wrapped in a thin Lawash bread. I think they also have soft-serve frozen yogurt as well as ice cream.
