We will be arriving at Disney on April 5th around 1:00 and I don't know where to start! Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do first? I was thinking of dinner someplace....
Thanks,

When we went in January we arrived about 11AM, drove to All Star Movies, checked in and had lunch at the food court. After lunch we took our luggage to our room, then headed for Epcot (we had the length of stay ultimate park hoppers).

If you don't want to hit the parks I'd suggest having an early dinner at Chef Mickey's, then heading to Downtown Disney for sightseeing/shopping. My grandkids LOVE the Lego Imagination Center.

When we have a mid-day arrival, we take the first park bus that comes along. For non-park ideas, grab lunch and take a walk on the Boardwalk, or take a monorail tour of the monorail resorts, try out the resort pool and try dinner someplace different like Rainforest Cafe at DTD or at the AKL.

I think a little more info would help. As the other posters said, do you want something in or out of the park. We are arriving the next day 4/6. Our flight is7;30 am so we will get up at 4:30.am My 3 ds are teens so my plan is to check in to the swan by noon, get a bus to mk and take the resort monorail to the poly. Try to get the ds water mice, if this does not work out they will eat lunch in captain cooks while dh and I have a lunch ps at konas, they will kill some time in the arcade and then we will go to the mk , do rides and parades etc. until we drop from exhaustion. I would note that you are going on the mk early entry day so that park will probably already be very crowded by the time you get there and fast pases to some of the rides might have a much later return time if there are any left. Its a busy season. By that time even the counter services places will be busy. Eat at a resort outside the park. If you have not made any priority seatings go to the allears website , look at the menus and call disney dining ASAP. You might also just try saying a day and asking the cm what is available. That is prime time and the pickings will probably be slim, but you might luck out if there are cancellations or you have a small party. I called a long time ago and got most all I wanted but not some of the specific times I wanted. If you are staying conceirge they can help you. Good luck and get going.

The 1st afternoon is usually spent at the resorts pool
The 1st night is Chef Mickey's

As soon as we check in we head for the pool! We usually arrive about 1:00 p.m. so we will grab a few sandwiches down at the pool and relax. We always make p.s. reservations for either Chef Mickey's (kid's favorite)or Cape May clambake (DH & my favorite) , depending on what hotel we are at or what our gang votes on. After dinner, we will take a stroll around the resort and get to bed at a decent time.:wave2:
