after Xmas?

The latest I've ever been to the World has been mid-October. We are looking to make the most of our APs this time and we're looking at the week after Xmas (12/29 to 1/4) for one of our grips. Does anything happen in the parks that week, it looks like the Xmas party only runs until 12/18 but is there anything for New Year's Eve? I know the crowd levels will be high but we've been there during high levels and know what to expect.
