After reading these boards as long as I have, I have come to realize...

Thanks!! It was DH's idea. We've both gotten lots of ideas for shots from all the great photographers on this board too!

Was it this shot? It's taken at Sir Mickey's from the doorway as you enter.

Yeah, that's the shot. Thanks for the response. I'll definitely be looking "up" more often when I'm in stores.

Yeah, but my point is that if some uncreative yokel can whip out several ideas like that in one sitting, just imagine what you can come up with when you're actually at the park trying to come up with interesting new shots.

:rotfl: and I'm so uncreative, I'm going to have to steal Mark's ideas for my pictures!! :rotfl:

As for my take on the trash cans, I like to to photograph the soda machines and all of the different Coke signs throughout the parks. My Dh works for Coke, so we often try to get him in the shots as well. i should round them all up and do a slideshow like Mark. See, another idea I had to steal from him!! I'm so lame!

The photo of the dwarf is good. Disney putting the dwarf smooshed by the ceiling is brilliant. That is really something to see. To have that idea, do it and do it so well is absolutely brilliant. :worship:

I wonder what store that was in and did I ever just walk by without seeing it.... :confused3

There is so much to see at WDW. People who commando are missing so much. We are trying to slow down even more on this trip.

The garbage cans photos is a really good idea. I bet that got some stares, some nut taking pictures of garbage cans. :rotfl:

Photo related: Got my Nikon 50mm f/1.4 lense on Saturday. Mainly to use as a travel lense at WDW. Very light. I think the lense and the D200 weighs about the same as my usual travel lense, a 35-70 f/2.8. That lense is small but heavy. Took some photos on Saturday in very low light that required F1.4 or f1.8. Have to download them to see how they really look but they looked good on the display.

I don't think that it's a dwarf. I think that it's the giant from Jack and the Beanstalk.

What about all the different kinds of lamps used throughout the parks? That was going to be my next theme when I go in Oct., but I'm willing to share. :)
