Guess which date I want my VP to start? Yup, April 1. I wonder what other changes might be coming, with the VPs.

It makes sense now that March 31st vacation packages were not included with the rest of May. A 3 day package would have included Disney Sea with the Fantasy Sea Magic Passport on April 1st. Ugh. We plan to grab a vacation package starting March 31st. I wonder if the new package that includes unlimited express pass (or whatever the correct name is) will still be available?

So packages for visits after March 31st, or purchases of packages after March 31st? Shoot we are planning on visiting early June. Will there be another way to pay to skip the lines?

Edited to add: Will the package price come down? For me that was the huge selling point.

The new VP inclusions haven't been published yet. Only the FS day pass is going away. So far.

My poor convention roommate, we have to split a small room and I'm going to be up trying to book.

I see the US time change does not impact Japan. The release will still be for 11:00am Japan time on whatever day the release for April is?

Rooms are released at 11AM JST four months out, to the calendar day.
VPs are released at 3PM JST, on the day they're released for the new month's releases; the next month to be released (any day now) is April, 2025.

I've been waiting to book a VP starting on March 31st! Several times a day, I check to see if there is an update to when the packages open up. Maybe I should book a package for the 28th or 29 but that would include the weekend.

There's a great Facebook group called Tokyo Disneyl Holiday Planning and they do a great job of keeping up-to-date on real-time changes. I'm waiting at the starting gate to book my 2-night VP for April 1.

Thank you so much. Now it makes sense why folks were talking about 2am. I think I'll need to leave my hotel room so I don't disturb my roommate with the light and nervous clicking! I'm so nervous I don't know the packages well enough to book, or have the right credit cards... *stressed muppet face*

Don't worry if certain rooms and/or hotels show up as sold out. When I did my VP package for my November trip, I saw availability constantly popping up. I was also in the queue for over 2 hours so I didn't finish my booking until like 4:30 in the morning...

Do try to be in the queue on your phone and computer. My phone was actually faster than my computer.

I know this sounds crazy but I got tired of waiting for March 31st to open up and not knowing what it will happen with FS, I just booked the 2 night, 2 park Enjoy Attractions even more (unlimited rides on the most popular attractions). I wanted to stay away from the weekend but with this VP, I'm hoping that it will work out. On the third day, I would have already been on the main rides so I will do the parades, minor rides.

I was glad that the 1 Day Fantasy Springs Magic Passport was going away because it was hard for me to afford a Disney hotel and a vacation package, but I totally forgot that Tokyo Disney still offers a Vacation Package with unlimited rides.

Starting from April, I think that vacation package will get a lot more popular.
