After Fireworks Dessert Party with Villain After Hours?

Hi all, I am staying at WDW and will be attending a Villain After Hours. Our Magic Kingdom day is looking really great with reservations at Be Our Guest for dinner as well. It was suggested to me by a friend to do the After Fireworks Dessert Party as for he and his wife it was a "must-do". My concern is that running into Villain After Hours and more-so, the Villain After Hours seems to have exclusive snacks. I'm beginning to doubt it's worth the Dessert Party when I could have these villain special snacks throughout the park as part of the experience. Would love to hear from anybody who has experienced both to help me lean one way or the other.

**EDIT**
Fireworks start at 9PM and Villains starts at 10PM

What time are fireworks and what time is Villains After Hours on your day?

I wouldn’t do the dessert party since you’ll have free ice cream and popcorn all night plus special villain party treats available, as well.

I wouldn't do dinner and a dessert party but that's just me, that's way too much food. I would pass on the dessert party if you're going to the villain after party the same day, it will eat into your time too much. There's special treats at the villain party, I'd use my money towards those. TBH the dessert party at HS is really good as well if you're doing a day at HS. It's every bit as nice as the one at MK.

I would not do both the after party and Villians the same night. You could do the before party and then Villians. That would work a lot better because eating the desserts at the after party would not cut into your Villians time.

This is all great feedback. I reached out to Disney after receiving this feedback to gauge their recommendations, I will post here again when they do reply. I may do the before party. We are only visiting Magic Kingdom once this trip it seems and we really wanted the experience. We may opt for the before party as @JeninTexas suggested. My party did not love the villain exclusive desserts as they lean toward the sour/tart side which helped drive our decision to do a dessert party but I also strongly feel it'll cut into the villain time as well.

An update for anyone who ever may be pondering the same question: My family and I decided to stick with the After Dessert. I spoke with a cast member who also advocated for the Before Party if we really wanted to but after a lot of conversations we decided we didn't mind having the dessert party after the fireworks to give us some down time before the 10pm-1am villains event. We figure when we finish, we can head to the castle to watch the Villains opening show. If this doesn't work out well I'll give an update to advise people against our decision. Thanks again for all the input we took all of them into consideration!

I see that you've made your decision...But I just wanted to be sure that you knew that BOG is now a pre fixe meal. You are locked into those courses. For my family, that meal plus a dessert party would be WAY too much food, plus the snacks at Villians.

No way I would do BOG, dessert party, and VAH in one night. way too much food. If it were me, I would skip the dessert party and stake out a spot for fireworks on my own.

I’m leaning towards the before dessert party and then Villains. Let me know how the after party then Villains turned out!

Last year I did the before party and then VAH. It’s the only way imo, After is insanity to me because you really don’t want anything eating into event time. This isn’t at all like Xmas or Halloween, 3 hours really is over that quickly.

I have a healthy appetite, but man, that is a LOT of food!!

We love dessert parties, but when we do them, we only have a light snack late afternoon, and make the dessert party our "dinner". You have a full BOG dinner, THEN the party, THEN the included snacks with VAH. Totally your call, but that's over $300 for the night per person, and I wouldn't be able to fully realize the value at least for the food, because I'd be too full!
