After Dessert Party

Where can people go to "have a drink" after a Dessert Party? Our formal celebration will be over, but I can see some of our guests wanting to meet somewhere for a drink...possibly dance...but at least a drink.

Any ideas on somewhere we wouldn't have to wait in line to get into? Size and atmosphere is not an issue...all ideas welcome!

Are you having your Dessert Party at Epcot? It would probably be fun to go to Jelly Rolls after, it's really casual and a dueling pianos bar that's lots of fun. You could also do Atlantic Dance Hall if people felt like dancing.

There are places in DTD, but I've never been to those. If you wanted something more quiet and low key all of the Deluxe resorts have lounges but I think they close at midnight, I know the one at the GF does.

I don't know where you are in your planning, but we had a 3 bedroom grand villa at BLT that we used for post DP and post reception and day-after brunch and all other kinds of entertaining and getting ready. It was FANTASTIC. We also had 7 people staying there - as their primary hotel room.

We fit 30 people in there easily.

I saw a bride and loads of people heading into Atlantic Dance Hall after their wedding and I thought that was a really cool thing to do!
