Hello and welcome to our first trip report of our first trip to Disney World! We got back last week so it's about time we got our TR going.

2010-05-11002.jpg

So now you know what we look like! Here's a little more detail.

Traci and I live in Indiana, USA with our 3 kids Brooklyn (5), Paris (turned 4 during the trip) and Max (almost 2).

Traci and I (Adam) will jointly be writing this trip report but most posts will probably be in this name (adamsup) but be sure to watch out for Traci's posts (tracisup).

OK, some quick info about this trip:

- this is our first trip to Disney World
- we stayed at the Contemporary Resort
- 7 nights 8 days from 5/8/10 to 5/15/10
- we booked the DXDP with lots of character meals
- we celebrated Paris' birthday during our trip (May 14)
- we took 1477 pics

Looking forward to sharing our trip with you and reliving our experience in minute detail! We had such a great time and can't wait to go back

Thanks for jumping in. Lots of magic, and a few hiccups along the way too! Just what you'd expect from us first timers! :rotfl2:

I'm in! :) DW and I are taking her family and our daugther to Disney for their first time in December. I like reading trip reports, especially ones with a lot of pictures because they're a way to relive the magic when we're not there!

Sorry about the delay getting this show on the road!

5/7/10 (day before our vacation)

Traci and I took the day off the day before our vacation to do some last minute organizing and packing. Took the kids to their grandparents so we had the whole day uninterrupted :cool1:

Here's the final product of our hard work!

The 4 bags at the back will be checked. The two in front of the checked bags are Traci and I's carry-ons and the two at the very front are the girls carry-ons. Paris loves Piglet and Brooklyn is all about her dollies. Brooklyn and Paris were very specific that they wanted their toys to be able to breathe - hence their heads poking out of the bags!

For the last week I have been scrutinizing my weather app to see what our weather's gonna be like during our trip. Here's what I saw:

:thumbsup2 Weather's looking great!

(The girls have asked to be surprised so they have no idea at this point that we leave tomorrow. They got the idea after we watched some YouTube vids of mums and dads surprising their kids! It was about a month ago that we stopped telling them how long til Disney).

Next up... SURPRISE!!!! We're going to Disney World right now!!

I can't wait to read all about your trip

Welcome!

Is that Disney popcorn? yum

Thanks for joining everyone!

We are going to do our 'arrival day' post soon.

Its been hard to find the time to write the report. Adam and I both work full time and as you know, we have 3 little ones and two teens plus, last week I tore my rotator cuff. I am scheduled for surgery next week. Until I am back to normal, Adam is taking care of EVERYthing around here by himself AND also taking care of me! :worship:

Again, Thanks for all the comments so far!

Traci

So sorry to hear about your injury, hope it all turns out well.
I am hopping on board to read all about your trip whenever you find the time to post more. :)
