Hey All!
A few well needed days away from DL after 6 days there with the kids, we're back on Friday and Saturday for a final few days in DL.
Couldn't believe how busy some days were, On one of the days it was so busy we ended up just going back to our hotel and giving up on the parks, two of the 6 were amazing with many rides (Particulary in DCA) walk on or 5 minutes at most.
We stayed for the first few nights at the Disneyland Hotel and loved it, scored an "upgrade" (Same room type but obstructed park view rather than garden) so that was nice.... My wife and I had an idea tho...... It's so difficult enjoying some "Adult Time" in these rooms with kids around, do you have a shower? Do you just hop under the sheets and be quiet?? Even if you do, you're worried one of the kids will stir in their sleep.... So we had an idea, Disney should have conjugle room available for use! I reckon it'd be a massive hit, one could say, it'd go off with a bang! Lol.... anyway, was just a thought
On another note, one evening we were walking around DCA near TSM and a woman was so focused on her mobile phone that she walked straight into my 8 year old son. I confronted her over this and she got right in my face and proceeded to kick me in the shin. Couldn't believe it! She then went to security and made a complaint about my son and the fact that I confronted her, I gave them my side of the story and they actually managed to find a witness. Interestingly they took my daughter and I back stage to the security area near Hollywood area, was absolutely fascinating seeing back stage and the security area, talking to them about the various incidents they encounter, the undercover agents who work for Disney, the radio codes and how much they look after, was quite fascinating. In the end, they actually cancelled the AP of the lady who kicked me and escorted her out of the park.
Anyway thats a few late night rambles, will endeavour to post up some more funny stories and thoughts once the disney part of our vacation concludes this weekend
