So excited to be planning a visit - it will be much different then our other 2. We have stayed 7 and 9 days - with park hoppers and dining plan - this trip

5 full days - no hoppers - no dining plan

Cast is me , husband and 2 teenage boys - 14 and 15 -- then we'll be going to universal for 3 days

This is my plan so far

Sat - AK with early morning hours
Sun - MK
Mon - DHS
Tues - Epcot - evening magic hours
Wed - MK - evening magic hours

We have also never done the evening magic hours - not sure if we will stay at Epcot but MK planning to sleep in and hit the park later in day and staying late

Just wanted to share with here - any tips or suggestions I'd love to hear

Oh is the coffee in the room still bad - should I bring my own?

Since you don't have hoppers, I recommend avoiding EMH. The first few hours are great, but by 10:00 am, the park with EMH will be significantly busier than the other parks. A smarter strategy is to visit the park that had EMH the day before.

If you really, really want to do EMH, pay the extra money for hoppers.

Agree with PP. I wouldn't never condone arriving to MK late, I am always that person shaking my head at the crowd on my way out when people arriving in the early afternoon..

Just stopping by to say YEAH! that you are going back after so long. I hope you have an awesome trip.

We do park hoppers, but we love the EMH nights. Some of our best experiences have been in those extra hours.

We were gonna do hoppers, but since only 5 days thought it might be better not to waste so much time on the bus. We have never done EMH but being that we'll be at MK earlier in the week and hopefully get a lot done - this will be more about the experience and riding the rides after Wishes.... Can u get FP for evening hours?

We've found hoppers to be more important for shorter trips than for longer ones. If we discover we are waiting in line for rides, time on buses becomes a wash. Epcot is an easy park to get done in the evenings (with the exception of Soarin), and if your kids are teens MK is often a good late park as well (depending on the time of year).

We will be in disney 4/23 - 4/27

Except for out 1st day in animal kingdom crowd levels are expected to be 5 and under according to ultimate guide to disney.

Animal kingdom day is a 7, but we will get there for early morning hours at 8

30 minutes on a bus isn't a lot compared to and extra 3 hours spent in lines throughout the day. If you aren't going to get hoppers, I really, recommend avoiding the parks with EMH.

Use the crowd calendars at easywdw.com to plan your days and use the cheat sheets at easywdw as the basis for your touring plan. This is what I do and we almost never wait more than 20 minutes for anything (and never more than 30 minutes.

I recommend reading the first couple of posts in this thread: http://www.disboards.com/threads/fa...ed-priorities-and-strategies-part-ii.3326057/ for everything you need to know about fastpasses.
