BLAZE ( 2 VISITS)

Red Vine Pizza

BBQ Chicken & Cheese bread
All the pizzas were eaten later and reheated.

We really like Blaze and never had anything that wasn't tasty.
Its a good solid pizza and lots of options.
Quick and cheap. Whats to hate about it. Better than so many of the way overpriced
pizza choices around Disney, this is our go to while in Disney.

BOATHOUSE ( 1st visit)


All of the Goods

If you've eaten here you will know they are BLISS & butter

Wedge Salad ( split) & Coconut shrimp

Steak & fries, bowl of pickle ( thats right) bowl of extra fried peppers for burger

BEHOLD the Gibson burger in all of it's meaty glory

SLAB of unreal chocolate cake

vanilla ice cream (comes with cake slab)

The Boatpeople needed some cash for boat repairs
we're happy to help out.

We always come to Boathouse since its our favorite place in all of Disney (not for me, thanks Jaleo)
Love everything about the place. Decor, service, menu, food, ambience.
For the wife's birthday lunch here is her pick and a dam fine one.

We always split the wedge salad and it's very fresh and perfectly flavored.
Can not go without seafood while eating here, so coconut shrimps will do very nicely.

Wife never had a steak here so she went for the garlic steak & fries. Wonderful.
She shared a bit and fantastic flavors and tender as well.

I HAVE to get the burger, since burgers are bliss and this one is.
Always needing more pickles they came in spades.
The fries here are my favorite anywhere and always come out perfect.
Would love a cheese sauce to dip ( hint hint)

Very full so we got the slab O cake for later that night back in the room,
but ate the stupendous ice cream it came with there.
The cake is enormous and so scrumptious.
well worth the $20 and some of the best chocolate cake ever.

I can not imagine a trip to Disney with out a stop at the Boathouse.

Wife loved it a few days earlier and wanted it again.
Same awesomeness ensued.

I told you I love burgers but to change it a bit I did get a baked spud

There is not a receipt since the Manager comped our meal.
The kitchen lost our ticket and the server who was magical told him without us saying a thing.
He came over to apologize and told us the entire meal was on him and thanked us for eating here
a few days ago. Very over the top nice and really unnecessary but appreciated.
We skipped dessert since we already had something else for later.
Thanks again for a wonderful meal.

What we got

We have had Amorette's many times but had found other treats we prefer.
They are all wonderful but they do not have a large selection for a bakery shop
and seems to keep most of the items around and not change it up for the most part.
Both cheesecake and tart are good, but if they spared the fancy boxes and bags they could
save a lot of waste. The packaging must cost more than the patisseries.

The Wave goodbye to some $$$$ worth it all

After last trip trying and splitting the bacon & eggs
I vowed never AGAIN..... to split it. So we each got our own.
We do split most things shown but this is very special and a requirement to
savor your own. This time was better since we each had a full portion.
The burger was very good and loved the fries.
Love the Wave, I hope after the redo they keep the bacon & eggs. Or else.....

Sexy as can be coconut bread pudding

To amazing to not show another sexy shot.
Gaze into it's loving breadness.

What bread goodness cost.

First time trying Banana Cabana, and it won't be our last.
It's a quick walk from one of our DVC homes Riviera and wish our Last trip we ate here.
Burger was very good. Fries standard but tasty.
Loved the chips & chili but the showstopper is the bread pudding.
Love bread pudding and this is so up there. Ice cream could have been larger to match the hunk of puddin.
We try bread pudding everywhere on property so we know. Now you know.
Next time gonna ask for lots of the caramel sauce and extra ice cream. Cause why not.
I WILL MISS YOU BREADY PUDD, till next time farewell sweetness.

Lumpia

Night blossom

When our ship lands for a visit to Pandora we love the local cuisine.
The Pandorians really know how to wow a visitor with their cold slushy fruity beverage the Night Blossom.
It can get real warm on this planet and this sweet treat hits the spot.
Watch out for the balls on the top they pop in your mouth and secrete a sweet ooze.
Who doesn't love sweet ooze in your mouths.

What better to nosh on with the drink, the Lumpia. Awesome.
A local fruit, the pineapple and cream fills the crisp outer shell and are hand rolled
by the Na'vi. They are a tall race but can really make a small tasty treat with those huge hands.
Just got to fit in with the locals and enjoy what they make for you.
Hayalovay , Kìyevame !

SATU'LI CANTEEN ( 1st visit)


Shrimp bowl, peek-a-boo hotdog, free cheese wrap

On this planet as well they require a transfer of credits.

After our last trip to Pandora and finally tried Satu'li for the first time
we vowed never to go without again. Since we keep promises here we are again.
Nothing new but everything here is outstanding. The Pandorian shrimpie are perfect.
Those Na'vi really can cook. Caution after eating them you do glow bioluminescent for a few hours.
For some reason they gave us a wrap for free, basic. Just cheese inside.
We ate it still. Don't want to offend the Na'vi and start a intergalactic war.
Our craft is coming back in a few and we tried something new to us.

Beef Bowl

Yup more credits needed for this too, go figure

We popped in again, cause its amazing and
this was the first time trying the "beef".
I think its really endangered Mountain Banshee but that's neither here nor there.
I have no proof other than how much goodness this was. So if its Mountain Banshee this
guy don't mind *wink * wink* I won't tell. Secret is safe with me.

Pan con tomato bread & Queso con chorizo w/chips

worth it all.

Okay, this had been on our must visit list for a while now and we finally made it happen.
This was nothing short of delightfully stupendous.
Very enjoyable setting in the middle of the lake but it is not air conditioned at all.

The tomato bread was simple but very flavorful and shockingly amazing.
Similar to the one at Jaleo but slightly different and equally delicious.

Fresh chips and queso, yes and YES! loved every scoop
only complaint is they need a option for a vat size of it.

The problem with the burger was we split it.
HOLY CRAP. Perfection. Cooked to temp and seasoned without fail.
Loved the seasoning on the fries and needed more of them as well.

Next time, and there is ALWAYS going to be a next time.
I would order all of this but not split the burger. We get our own.
Perhaps try the burger on that tomato bread? Hmmmm....
I need a bridge from my house directly here. Is that feasible...

ANIMAL KINGDOM ( Cart)


Grilled corn & pickle

What awesome corn this is. We get it several times every trip and
thankfully they seem to be keeping it around.
So grab a cob and jam it into your piehole and lust it hard.
For bonus enjoy a perfect cold pickle along side it.
Pickles are life.

So glad to see you all loved Jaleo. I'm surprised it doesn't get more attention around here. We're spoiled as we have 3 of them pretty close to us so we've been eating there for probably 20 years. It never disappoints and the food just keeps getting better and better.

I'm kinda glad it doesn't I don't want to fight someone for a reservation, Jaleo is now a MUST every trip, we're going back in January and it's now
going to be our first night arrival dinner.
