Can be a touchy subject, but I wouldn't want to be hired soley on being a minority. I, personally, think it's a bad idea, no longer needed, etc, but I guess there are those who feel differently, or it wouldnt' be an issue (or a poll on the disboards)

I think we've gotten past the need for such things and should focus on basic human rights for everyone. At least I'd like to think so.

I am a paraplegic. If I were hired based only on the fact they needed to fill an EOE quota or something, I would be pissed. Hire me on my abilities or not at all.
