Aerosmith was old when they made the coaster in the first place. But they are a timeless kind of old. Unlike certain Disney tween stars. Even Disney knows better than to bank on them for a 10 year span.

The only thing that could make a inverted roller coaster scarier is Jonas Bros playing in the background !

a led zepplin coaster debuted last year but the park then failed. I heard it was a great ride with the song a whole lot of love on a MASSIVE b and M coaster. The park (Hard rock park) will open this year but under another name and probably without the led zeplin name on the coaster or the music.

A little over an hour away and I never made it to that park to ride that coaster...good news its opening back up real soon but I believe Zepplin has been removed as the park name has changed too

disney would never do this.... the jonas brothers are a fad, whereas aerosmith is an american classic (im not a fan, but they do have a few really great songs) unless they wanna shell out the money to change it every few years this wont happen..
when you see that huge strat out front, who do you think of? aerosmith or the jonas brothers?

Another reason I don't buy it is that if they got rid of Aerosmith on the DHS coaster I guess they would also have to change the theaming to match on the RnRC at WDS in Paris. Now, I teach 8 year olds in the UK and I know that the Jonas Brothers really aren't that big over here! Aerosmith are still known as a classic.

If they change it to Jonas brothers, the ride story will have to change so that the crazy ride is to get away from the concert as fast as possible. Fact, they might need to make takeoff even faster.

In defense of my son, I take issue with the person who posted that they "feel sorry for me." I would consider that kind of comment inappropriate and below the belt, but I not really that surprised because often times when someone posts something often people get personal and go into "attack mode" which I'm not getting. What I posted about the RNR is what are the rumblings amongst cast members themselves. Perhaps this "phenomenon" does not come out ignorance or lying, perhaps it is bred by Disney themselves to get attention -- to keep its fans on its toes. My son is no liar and you should not feel sorry for me, but for yourself for being so oddly judgmental. Indeed, perhaps a better study would be "Why Posters Displace their Personal Anger through Innocent Posts on the Disboards." It's one thing to disagree - but getting personal as far as I'm concerned is a Disboards No No. Shame on u! Maybe I should start a post that the Bobby Sherman ride is coming to WDW and everyone can have at it.....Have a magical day!

Exactly what I was thinking. What happens when no one likes the Jonas brothers anymore? Are they going to change the ride again? I also think the Jonas brothers are a fad.

I would hate for this coaster to change from Aerosmith to Jonas brothers.

Thank u Oh Great Wise One right above me....it is true, sometimes it's a real turn-off to post on here b/c of the fear of being attacked. Honestly, I love Disney....I'm all Disney but it's not the end all to everything. I do think often people are rude and thanks for that acknowledgment. It is true. I only was posting what I heard. I didn't hear it from a five year old on the bus ride over from Pop Century to Hollywood Studios, I heard it from an employee, who happens to be my son. Honestly, I could give a rat's patootie (sp???) if they turned it into the Bob Barker Rock -n- Roller coaster and in the background I had to listen to Dean Martin music with voice overs by Bo about neutering your pets. It's all for fun. I guess the bottomline is don't get personal, unnecessary and immature. So we'll see, let's face it the no one wears pants as tight as Steven Tyler these days except the Jo Bros....maybe that's how misinformation got out

OK. Let's discuss CM rumors that I have heard or read

1. Coke products were being taken out of the parks because they aren't healthy (heard over a year ago.... )
2.The monorial is being extended and will run through the black section of the Swan. (routinely provided by the boat drivers)
3. ESPN club at Boardwalk was closing. (Two years ago)


And lets not even start on the CM rumors that come out about DVC. (it's an entire sub industry)

Disney does NOT leak secret info to CMs for the VERY reason that they will tell someone like thier mom who will race off to show thier "Inside" information! LOL! Disney is a HUGE workplace and just like your workplace people talk to "talk" and this is the result. It may be true, but generally a good protion of CM "rumors" are just that!

As to the poster above, I really do believe that there is a possibility that some of the things your describe as "rumors" perhaps were a "consideration". Who knows maybe they are considering some kind of Jo Bro ride or Hannah Montana. And no my son is just a lowly CM and not the President of WDW - but neither are you.

Bottom line whenever you get one of these "rumors" from a CM is that - They have no clue - Unless the CM is s a Disney VP of some division or another and even then....they are not told anything ahead of time like this! Would it ever make any sense for a company like Disney for the coporate execs to start spreading rumors down to the CM's at WDW? No.

Totaly agree!!!! at least thier music is music and they have been around for years! Jo Bros have been said to be going on a downward motion according to cnn news... heck thier first concert sold out in 3 mins, this years still has tickets for sale! It would run the ride!
