Hi, was just looking for some advice about booking OKW with free dining for August 2014.

We were hoping to book a one bedroom villa for 5 of us for 3 weeks however DH can only get two weeks off work. I was wondering if we book for 3 weeks for 4 of us and he joins us for the last two weeks, would we need to make the booking as if he was there for the whole three weeks to get the use of the tickets and DDP offer or would he just be added to the booking when he arrived?

I had also thought maybe when there were 4 of us we could have booked one room at another resort for a week and then moved to OKW for the two weeks when we needed more space but I think these bookings get messy with the tickets and the DDP offer. Would there be an easier way of doing a split stay?:confused3

Thanks:)

Multicentre with free dining doesnt work as you need to have tickets for the stays so you would have to buy two sets of tickets

You would have to have your hubby on the booking overwise he wouldnt have any free dining or tickets and for safety i would think disney would need to know how many are in the rooms

My advice would be to call WDTC UK and explain your situation to them and see what they can do for you. Splitting your stay and have 2 bookings would probably be the best solution I can think of, but they may be able to do something on the system that wouldn't make that necessary.

You couldn't just put your husband in the room without adding him to the booking because he wouldn't get the dining & tickets, so I think they would probably need to split it into 2 bookings, but it's worth calling and asking them how best to manage it.

I would just book the whole 3 weeks and you can use his extra credits then. :)

You will have to all have the same ticket but I think the extra credits would probably make up for it.

I would just book him as though he is there the whole 3 weeks, the room will remain the same price, and you will get the extra dining credits so you could always do some 2 credit meals.the only extra cost would be paying for 21 days tickets for him when he would only need 14

This is exactly what we are doing for our trip next October. DH and I are flying out first and then our 2 boys are joining us 6 days later and we are all staying together for another 9 days. As we are getting free DDP this means we have 60 x TS credits, 60 x CS credits and 60 snack credits. As there are only 2 of us for the first 6 days we are able to do several TS evening meals that use 2 TS credits without having to do other meals OOP to save the credits.

I agree with others, book him on for the whole 3 weeks and then use his extra dining credits. you can do some 2 credit dining shows or 2 credit restaurants, so none of the credits go to waste. :thumbsup2

I think if you try and split the bookings at all, they will want you to buy 2 lots of tickets. :goodvibes

Thanks for all the replies, will just need to decide if we are going ahead with the three weeks as planned. really disappointed he can't get time off, but as DS will be off school for 13 weeks next summer seems a shame for us all to go for a shorter holiday.

Have also considered just going for 2 weeks at Easter or Xmas but DH doesnt like the idea of crazy crowds and with flight prices being so high for 5 of us we couldn't really consider 2 shorter trips in one year during school holiday times.
