We will be visiting WDW Thursday April 4 through Sunday April 7

We will be landing at Orlando about 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, picking up a rental car.

We have reservations on Thursday and Friday at Port Orleans, and a Savanah view room Saturday night at Animal Kingdom. We have a flight out at 2:00 on Sunday, so presumably would have to leave for the airport no later than 12:30.

We want to plan one full day at MGM, one full day at MK - and then plan around the 2/3 day and the 1/2 day ...

Tentatively thinking:

Go directly to Epcot from airport on Thursday, spend the day there (not an early entry day, not a holiday week, probably not too horrible ????)

Friday at MK (all day)

Saturday at MGM (all day)

Sunday morning - either lounge around AK and enjoy, or race over to AK, pack in as much as we can then head to airport.

Would love advice on whether this or some other idea makes sense ... also is it practical to "do" Epcot in 2/3 day like this?

I think it sounds like a good plan. I'm no expert but I would have to think that MK on a Friday would be better than MK on a Saturday and MGM on a Saturday is probably crowded but not as packed as MK would be so I think you made a wise decision there. :)

Personally I think Epcot needs a few days to do BUT since you only have 2/3rds of a day I'd still go for it and hit the highlights. WS is open later so it'll give you a chance to do some of FW in the late morning, early afternoon and finish up the evening in WS.

I'd just lounge aroung the lodge on your last day. Would it really be worth it to spend the extra $$$ on a ticket and then not have a chance to see much of a park? Perhaps head for some shopping at the Marketplace?

Have fun! :)

Friday sounds good for MK (don't want to do it on a Sat.)

If I were you, I'd go to MGM upon arrival and then on Sat. go to MGM for early hour and then when it starts to get crowded go to Epcot. Sunday at AK sounds good - just be sure to get there at opening and make use of the fastpasses!

Have fun! Sounds great!

thanks ... and would welcome any other views!

(i take it Sat is early admission at MGM?)

First, let's work on the dates. On my calendar 4/4 is a Sunday. Are you talking about March?

We are planning to be there at that time and I got confused.
