Hi,
We have booked the Fairytale package at the All Stars Music for Sat July 5- Sat July 12. We are driving down from South Carolina on July 4th, so that we can be refreshed and ready to start in the parks on Sat July 5th when the UPH starts - Can anyone give any recommendations on an inexpensive (or possibly attainable via Priceline?) hotel relatively close to WDW, that might - just might - be close enough to see fireworks July 4th night? Nothing fancy - just a place to crash for Friday night and maybe to take a dip in the pool - but seeing the fireworks would be awesome - possibly staying near DTD might be an option. All-Stars would be 120 plus tax and I'm hoping to do better than that, since we will be spending all our money once we get to the Magic Kingdom...

Any suggestions? I have read the biddingfortravel board but the Priceline thing is kinda confusing - I can figure it out for 25 bucks a night LOL but I would love some recommendations.

Thanks!!
Carol

Well, we are arriving on the 3rd, and the FT package starts on the 4th, but we opted to stay in the same resort with the same room type, so that we can stay in the same room, and not have to check out again. It was worth the extra money to us to be settled.

Why not just add a night to the All Stars? Then you will be settled in and not have to worry about transferring to another resort.
