We'll be there Oct 12 - 22, staying at the Board Walk. Other than Illuminations we're not huge fireworks fans but since DHS is a short stroll away we'll probably wander over. Are they on every night and where would be a good viewing area for a couple who might want to exit without a hassle?

Thanks,

Post number 11 of the sw thread (link on my signature) has that info.

Theyre not on every night. Im arriving on the 12th as well. For my trip they're showing:

12th @730pm
14th @8pm
15th @8pm

If you click this link, you will find the schedule for all parks. Click on the HS link and you'll see the list of daily activities with the time included https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/calendars/

Its a 12 minute show btw. And if you stand too far back for a quick escape, you'll miss some of the show (projections on the theater I believe). Click on the link the pp mentioned above. :) Good luck!

You do need to stand where you can see the screens around the Chinese Theater. There is more emphasis on the screens in this show.

Staying at the Boardwalk, you can walk back easily though.

I've lately seen some great photos of viewing it from the path between Boardwalk and DHS.

I honestly think I may just head there to watch based on photos/videos I've seen from inside. Look at this -

It's a great spot for the actual fireworks, but there aren't many fireworks in the show. Most of the show is projections and effects you can only see from inside the park. The actual fireworks are few and far between in the show.

DH and I saw it from about half way down whatever the main thoroughfare is that runs between the entrance and the GMR (what is that? Hollywood Blvd?). Anyway, we were plenty close enough to see the projections on the theater and had a decent view of the fireworks. The view was likely better closer to it but we didn't have to stake out a spot early and we could skeedaddle right on out of there and beat the crowds to the buses. I would watch from there again.

Does anyone know if the Star Wars Fireworks will continue into November?
they have been very slow to update calendars. But they have been adding the show every couple of weeks. As of now the schedule is out until the first week of November
