advice on ipod please

okay so i got my ipod in november 2005. and when i went to disney in july 2006 the screen got scratched but i didn't notice until now and my warranty is over but i called apple and they said i can get another warranty for another $100 to $200 and when i get the warrany i can send my ipod in to get another one.

i don't know should i pay that much money for another warranty and send my ipod in to get a replacement? or just keep my ipod how it is?

For that much you could just buy a new one.. and give the scratched one to a younger sibling... cousin ect.

I cried when I dropped my ipod and scratched. I couldn't look at it... so I bought it a cover.


But now I have a new ipod... so.... I'm happy now.... I need a case for this one though...so I don't kill it again XD

But I would def. just but a new one. or if your b-day is coming up soon hust ask for one and save your $

does it still work ok? why pay $100-$200 just so you can basically get a new screen? as long as it works fine and everything else but the screen is ok, id say keep it.

especially if you didn't notice it for awhile and it doesn't change anything.
