Advice on handling AAA situation

Need advice on handling AAA situation. Booked our Dec 3-10, 2005 trip to WDW back in August for BWI. Went with AAA because no better discount at the time (still best rate during our dates). I received my final documents today from my agent--wrong hotel, BC instead of BWI. I called her to discuss and she first tried to say that was the hotel I chose. Backed off from blaming me when I explained to her that I had emails between us showing BWI. She called WDW twice (talked to a supv the 2nd time) and they said there were no rooms available. She said that she would call twice a day until our trip to see if any rooms open up. I have nothing against BC, stayed there in 2003; we just wanted to try BWI. Any ideas on what I can or should do? Don't know if calling her supv would do any good. Thanks!

Yuck. Have you looked to see whether the BW Villas are available? Not quite the same, but pretty close.

I'm not sure what else you could do, but talking to the supervisor might not be a bad idea. Not to get the TA in trouble, but at least to demand some kind of compensation. I guess there's an outside chance that AAA and WDW have a close enough relationship that if someone higher up at AAA gets involved, they may have access to some kind of problem solving person at WDW. Just guessing, though. The TA is, ultimatley, your agent, so their mess up is your mess up in disney's eyes. It's up to the TA to make it right to whatever extent she can.

At this point there probably isn't much they can do but to keep calling every day to see if there are rooms available at BWI. I would call WDW also and if you had to make another reservation and have AAA cancel the one you didn't want.

My AAA agent didn't want to take my deposit until I look at the 14 day hold confirmation to make sure that everything is correct. Did you not get the original confirmation? What did it say?

Sorry to hear you're having problems. Though not ideal, did she see if it is available maybe half the time. You could switch part way through if something is open but if any of the days are available now, she should hold them for you.
