Here's my transportation problem. We are arriving at mco dec 6, one day before our wonder cruise. After the cruise, we plan to spen 3 days at wdw. What is the best way to manage transportation? We will be staying on property. should I just rent a car, drive over to the port and park, then use the rental for disney?
I there a better (i.e. cheaper :rotfl: way to go?) dis Vets Help!

There are lots of threads on this over on the cruise board. Disney transportation is expensive and it is cheaper to rent a car is there are more than 3 of you. Disney transportation is $59 round trip. Disney transportation also gets you to the port in the afternoon and many people prefer to get there around 10:30 to be one of the first to board so they can enjoy the ship longer. Budget and Hertz both have locations near the port with suttles to the ship. I know there are others, but I can't remember them right now. We always rent a car and have had no regrets.

We are going to use FLtours. They can pick us up at the airport, drop us off at the port, pick us up at the port and take us to WDW, then take us back to the airport all for around $250. DH doesn't want to take the buses and we really don't want to hassle rentals and returns!

I'm in the midst of planning our vacation for next Aug....5 nights at BW, then over to do a 4 night cruise. I'm planning on taking DME to BW, then renting a car at the Dolphin, driving to Pt. Canaveral, spending the night there, and return the car in the morning and taking the car rental shuttle to the ship. Then taking the Disney transportation back to MCO when the ship returns.
