Advice needed on how to do DCA when we don't have EE

We will be at DLR from Sunday, July 20- Wednesday, July 23. The only day that EE won't be going on at DCA is Tuesday and we are using our MM that day at DL. We are planning on Monday the 21st at DCA for rope drop. I was going to send everyone else to TSMM while dh and I get FP for RSR, Soarin, and WOC. Is that a good plan on how to start the day with being behind the resort guests? What's the best route to get to TSMM the quickest? My dh and I were just at DL for a day in April and we made sure to ride TSMM so that we won't mind missing out on it this summer. I'm kind of bummed that we will be "behind" already when we arrive at DCA.

Your plan works, but if you don't want to split the family you can get the RSR FP an hour and a half after the park is open.

Start with TSMM, then Screamin, Triton, Mickey FW, SS, Goofy, and Mermaid
You will finish Paradise Pier by 930am, get FP for RSR, FP for Soarin, and WOC, while family relaxes in Bugs Land or rides Grizzly River.

Route wise they are about the same.
Grizzly Trail is longer than the Main corridor area, but they catch up due to the Cars Land line.

This can vary greatly. Depending on crowds I have seen them go from as early as 10:30/11am or until around 1-2pm in the afternoon. So you should have time on most days.

Does the section you get with the FP depend on if you pull it right away or later on? We missed WOC last time and really want to make sure we see it this time

There is Blue and yellow. Blue are the first ones to go then yellow then not available for the show of your choice. We have gotten Blue each time and enjoyed the show so I can't comment on yellow. But I would advise lining up 30-45 minutes before the return time posted on the FP.
