Advice needed DCL or just WDW

Hello,
I have a dilemma.......my husband and I are debating which one of the 2 trips we should take in May....please help...

Trip 1
3 nights Disney Wonder (we have done this twice before)
7 nights at Boardwalk

Trip 2
9 nights at Animal Kingdom Lodge

AHHHH......
I can't make up my mind...any help would be fantasmic!!!!!

Hi! Since you've done the Wonder before, you know what that's all about. Do you have kids with you? In 2003 we took a 7 day on the Magic, then spent 3 nights afterward at AKL. We all agreed we should have stayed at AKL for 10 nights instead. The 7 day cruise was too much "togetherness" for our family, then DS10, and DD4

We loved AKL, have you ever stayed there?

Nope no kids just my husband and I ....we travel to WDW atleast twice a year..last year we went 3 times...it was a great year!!!!

Part of me wants to do the cruise again but the other part thinks that only 7 days at WDW isn't long enough ....decisions, decisions....

I have never stayed at AKL....I had dinner at Jikos thats about it and it was at night, so we really didn't get to see anything....I bet it's beautiful during the day!!

I would try to plan the cruise for the last few days. I can't think of a better way to relax after fun filled park days!
