Hi everyone,

We are currently in the process of deciding whether to take a trip to Disneyland for my Dad's 70th in February next year.

What is it like at that time of year? I appreciate not everything will be open, but hey, it's Disney and it's a break!!

What should we expect with the weather? Is there a huge difference between mid Feb and early/mid March?

Same goes with crowds - I know Spring Break comes up etc, but the hols are a bit different over here..which is why I'm asking for advice!

Any advice would be really gratefully appreciated!!

Thanks :)

We're planning on going in Feb. and people on here have told me it's a great time to go as far as low crowds are concerned. Except for around Presidents Day which is busy.

WEATHER
We went this past February and had a great time...we stayed at the Grand and even went swimming. It wasn't hot outside but the pool was heated and the weather was nice.

BUT the week before we left it was raining...I remember cuz a bunch of us were watching and waiting...BUT I also remember the folks that were there in the rain were checking in and still having fun.

It's really hit and miss as far as weather goes.

CROWDS:
Feb. is fine and beg of March is fine...as you get closer to the middle and end of March...spring breaks begin and crowds increase.

In Feb. we waited for NOTHING really...Toy Story Mania was newer and the longest we waited was 30 min.

Only thing about going off season like this is that some rides are closed for maintainence so you have to be ready for that possibility.

Also, during the time you will be there there will be no Fantasmic.

Hope some of this helps!!
