Hi all,

I am planning my family's second trip to the world. Staying at CSR in April 2012. My party is me, DH, DS6, and DS4. We will be purchasing the dining plan (not deluxe). Here's what I am hoping to score for reservations:

Arrival Day - Epcot afternoon / evening. Akerhus Princess Dinner. Youngest son and I love the princesses and I figure there won't be too many more trips I can get away with this.

Day 2 - Animal Kingdom. Character Lunch at Tusker House. Dinner at Pepper Market, enjoy resort.

Day 3 - Epcot am / Magic pm. Lunch at Biergarten. Dinner at Pecos Bills.

Day 4 - Hollywood. Character breakfast at H&V. Snack for lunch. Here's where I need help. Dinner - Chef Mickey's, Ohana, or Kona?? :confused3 I figure we will bus from CSR to MK then hit the monorail. Depending on timing, we could wander around MK that evening too.

Day 5 - MK all day. Lunch at Columbia Harbor House. Dinner at Crystal Palace.

Day 6 - MK am / pool pm. CS Lunch at ??? Any ideas? Dinner at Pepper Market or pool side.

Day 7 - Return home. AK in the am. Lunch at Restaurantasaurus or Flame Tree.

From my list, the only TS repeat for us is Crystal Palace and the only CS repeats for us are CHH, Pecos Bill, and Restaurantasaurus.

Please let me know what you think or if I am missing a real gem. Thanks for the feedback!!!

I would go with O'Hana..

My favorite is BOMA...

It just isnt a Disney trip without doing Hoop Dee Doo...

I also vote for Ohana. Chef Mickeys isnt the greatest in my opinion. Although I love Kona breakfast, the dinner menu just doesnt appeal to me. I just think the Ohana atmosphere/activities would be more fun for the kids!

The kids will love the hula hoops and coconut races at Ohana: you should check the menu on the Dining Pages to see if your picky eaters with find something they like.
At CSR, the Cafe Rix (used to be called Tendo?) has good sandwiches and light fare, which you can enjoy outside on the Terrace.

I too would vote for 'Ohana's for your Day 4 dinner ... plus you could possibly go down to the Poly beach to watch the fireworks after

One other small note: the first "phase" of the fantasyland expansion (part of the circus area) is scheduled to open in "Early 2012". i don't know exactly what that will entail and if April is "Early" but there might be additional food options there and you could avoid Pecos Bill's twice (personally I would avoid it all together as our family hated it last time we went, but that might just be us)

I agree with everyone about 'Ohana's. It has amazing views and great activities for the kids.

For the counter service I would try and squeeze something in at DTD. I missed out on Earl of Sandwich when I was there and have been kicking myself since. :sad2:

I would do Ohana
also what about Boma for breakfast the day you leave?

You have a pretty long day planned for MK for day 5. You may want to do lunch back at the resort then go back to MK later or eat CHH then go back for a break.

Day 6 why not do earl of sandwich for lunch after leaving MK

Thanks everyone. I was leaning away from Chef Mickey's and toward Ohana. You helped me decide - I didn't realize the entertainment value of Ohana. I just really enjoyed the menu.

Also thanks for the Boma and Earl of Sandwich recommendations. We aren't going to have a car this trip so I'm skipping DTD (gasp) and non-monorail resorts. I'm just too nervous about the transportation wild card.

On our MK big day, I do intend to take a mid-day break. Other than CHH and Pecos Bills (both of which we've enjoyed), any other CS recommendations for that park? I did not enjoy Cosmic Ray's last time.

Oh, and we are later in April (4/22-4/28). Thanks again!
