Hi there. I have just come across this board while trying to find a cheap trip to eurodisney for my 40th birthday!
I am sooo confused.
Do you only get early hours magic at certain hotels?
Is there any such thing as a cheap trip to disney. it seems so expensive. £1,200 for four of us staying in the santa fe. Have not booked yet as still deliberating over the expense!!
Any advice would be great.

Hi rosebud07,

You get extra magic hours, when they are on, if you are staying at any onsite Disney hotel.

Have you tried looking at booking your travel separately from your hotel/park tickets? I've always done this, and it works out much cheaper than either a travel agents package or a Disney package.

If you want to stay onsite, Disney or Expedia for your hotel/tickets package will probably be the best prices, and then you can look at prices for travelling there (Eurostar, driving, plane etc).

Hope this helps, and what a great way to celebrate your birthday :goodvibes

Hi Rosebud - our first trip 5 years ago was to the Santa Fe, booked through Thomas Cook.
11 trips later I have never paid as much as I did for the first one! This is even though we have been to the more expensive hotels for longer stays and at more expensive times of the year. Definitely shop around and see if you can get a cheaper price by booking the pieces of your holiday separately.

You get EMH at any of the seven Disney hotels. You also get it if staying at the Elysee Hotel for some reason.:confused3

If you decide to book direct through Disney, you can get cashback on Quidco. Get a quote from Disney to compare with the price you've been given - the quotes for my first trip to the Santa Fe ranged from £780 - £1200! It is worth playing around on the website to see what you can get, especially if you can be a bit flexible.

The time of year will make a big difference aswell as the weekday. If you're including a weekend and are a bit flexible with dates, see if arriving on the Thursday or Friday would be cheaper.

And as Joolz said, don't forget Quidco - 6.5% cashback is not to be sniffed at.

If you're thinking of purchasing half board vouchers do it at the time ofbooking and you'll get cashback on that too ;) Of course this is only if you choose to book online

£1200 sounds an awful lot for just the Santa Fe. We paid £680 for sequoia mid summer and £800 for the Pink Hotel last week. (Were on special offers but still).

Definitely check the disney website!
