We are going to MGM on OCT 3. I am want suggestions for where to eat that day. It will be my mom, my dd4 and myself. We already have a character meal at Crystal Palace the next day and Boma on Monday so we are not looking for a buffet. We are on the DDP looking for 1 TS either in or near MGM. TIA

The 50's Prime Time is our favorite place to eat at MGM.

agree with previous poster:thumbsup2

50's primetime would be my 1st choice.
Mama Melrose would be my 2nd choice.

There are two places I'd recommend. 50s Prime Time has been mentioned and I agree with that one. Just realize that they are hijinx that go on during the meal so your daughter might be intimadated a bit.

The Sci Fi Dine In is another favorite (well, OK, it's the favorite). Can't beat the atmosphere.

For both, I would suggest lunch. Even a late lunch at 2:30 or something. Dinner is OK but lunch just seems more casual and "loose".

Our favorite at MGM is Mama Melrose's. It also gets our vote for "best service" at ANY WDW restaurant. Any menu item is cheerfully prepared pretty much any way you want it. My family is picky enough that they can challenge even the nicest server, so I usually try to cut them a little slack. Every server we've had at Mama Melrose's has just gone above and beyond to make us happy. I think the atmosphere here is also a bit more relaxed than the other MGM TS's. That said, my second favorite at MGM is 50's Prime Time.

50's PTC all the way!!!!!

The food is WONDERFUL! And the atmosphere is GREAT!

We love it there!
