Adventurous non-park restaurants

Hey all! My kids have given me dining suggestions that have switched around my plans and left me with one day's dinner unaccounted for. I am looking for a list of restaurants with all of the following attributes:

1) Adventurous options
2) Not in a park
3) One credit on the Disney dining plan
4) Really good food (obviously)
5) Fairly easy to get to by car (we are driving our own)
6) Not Sanaa or Ohana (already planning to do those)

For reference, our favorite meals (food) so far have been Sanaa, Be Our Guest (lunch and dinner), Restaurant Marrakesh, and Tusker House.

Immediately thought of Artists Point at Wilderness Lodge but that is 2 points. Look at Whispering Canyon for a 1 point dinner that is an adventure of its own. While I recommend the skillet dish, the salmon is always a good bet in our experience. If you want to indulge in the real adventure, ask to be seated in the main dining area where the real fun happens. The Territory Lounge has some availability to order from the Artists Point menu but since we dont use the dining plan, cant help you there.

You've already been to some of the more adventurous restaurants! I would take a look at the Wave and Ale & Compass to see if there is anything of interest.

I don't find anything at WDW to be adventurous, but if you haven't been to Boma (breakfast or dinner) I would recommend that.

It is 1 credit for lunch. That would be my recommendation as well.

For adventurous food this is easy Boma. For great food and a lot of fun think about Whispering Canyon.

The Wave, Raglan (fun and delicious), Wolfgang Puck Express ( surpisingly good), Boma (a favorite)

For 1 TS, Boma would be the obvious choice.
Raglan Road is lots of fun when the band is playing and the dancers are out. The food is good, but I'm not sure I would label it adventurous.
My first choice for what you want is Jiko, but that is 2TS.

Agree with PP, Jiko would be my first suggestion but it is 2 credits. So Boma would be the place I would recommend.

We ate Bongo's for the first time last fall and I absolutely loved it. I would consider Cuban to be fairly adventurous. Not sure how many credits it is though.

Boma was one we really enjoyed last trip

We enjoyed Ale and Compass on our last trip. Not completely adventurous, but it was a nice relaxing meal. The clam bake was okay (wasn't bursting with flavor) but the short ribs were really tasty and tender.

We skipped dessert there, and went to the walk-up window at Beaches for a sweet treat.
