Adventures of a DisneyWORLDholic! Updated1/24 I was an unofficial WDW tour guide.

Loved your pics! That ride looks so scary when you go upside down :scared1: but sometimes scary is fun ;)

I hate it that at work, I can't see pictures!!! :sad2: Well, it all SOUNDS good!! :lmao:

But I think I would kind of know when Jacob "complained" about being wet, something was gonna give -- he LOVES to be wet!! I know when Jordan starts "melting" in the heat (she has such a low tolerance for it), I have to find some coolness to keep her spirits up, or we'll all be miserable soon.

Well...can't wait to get home and see the pictures!! :)

Hi Melissa,

Great update and photos, sounds like you had a really fun day! We thought the same at SW, we' weren't really in the Splash zone, we were! It was like getting a bucket load of cold seawater thrown over us!

Di x

Great updates! Seaworld looks like a great ride. That coaster looks awesome! I'm sorry Jacob got upset. Hopefully he recovered quickly.

love the updates... had wanted to try Manta from day one but really dont need to do the whole park thing and not to crazy to buy a ticket just to ride it... thanks for sharing that part... :):thumbsup2

I can understand your feelings about not wanting to go for one rollercoaster. The other one was good also. But no Donald there, so why would you need to go.;)

Actually, upside down felt great, it was looking straight down at the ground that was scary. :scared1: Isn't that why we love thrill rides. their scary but fun!

Yes, great description Di! Sorry you went through that also.

He got over it, but will probably bring it up later. He never seems to forget things like that. :sad2:

I will get another update done tomorrow. The hubby is painting his figures in the office and hates to hear me "pound on the keyboard". I think it is just a loud keyboard IMO. Using his laptop right now and I hate trying to do updates on it.

You may notice I have added some tickers. Just booked Sept 18th at All Star Sports, not my preference, but the only military value I could get. And it is just one night. Can't wait to go to MNSSHP.

You may notice the other ticker for October. This is a night with a bunch of Dis friends at AKKV. Thanks to my good friend DFD, the duck! :woohoo::dance3::yay: Super excited about this night. Haven't purchased my ticket yet, but will do that. We are spending Saturday together also, but not sure what all will be going on, except rope drop!

DFD has been my lucky charm at DHS. Usually when we go there are no crowds. Always have a great time.

And by the end of the weekend I hope to add a third ticker for our January trip. Jonas is to get it booked, but I'm not suppose to know details. He tried to surprise me Friday and book it, but he couldn't find the phone number on the website. Do you think I am worried about this?:scared1: Then after he called me, I tried to get on the website and it was down. The man broke Disneyworld's website. :scared1: Ok, I've seen the man do a lot of planning for the Air Force, such as an air show and getting 1000's of students home for the holidays, surely he can handle 4 days at WDW.:lmao:

Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. Anyone doing anything exciting?

Oops,my mistake. But I haven't stayed at Jambo so this will be even more special.

I've very excited.

It's always fun to add new tickers!:cool1:

Isn't it, I see you have two also. Sure wish I could participate in just the half marathon, but my heel pain never has gone away.:sad2:

Oh, and there may be another ticker soon. Can't believe I almost forgot this one...BFF Vickie is hoping to come to WDW for a girls only weekend.:yay::woohoo::dance3:

I had chosen to go to Epcot on this day. As you may remember, we had already been to MK, Jonas isn't a big fan of AK, and we weren't ready for DHS as we had been a lot the past month for SWW. But, I also wanted to go to one of my favorite places to eat, can anyone guess where it is? I think it is a tough one to guess.

Jonas was going to leave us on this day because he had a 7:00am meeting the following morning.:sad2: Because of this we decided to drive but first Jacob wanted to pose for one of those pics where he is doing something he shouldn't

Once in the car I left the camera in the backseat with Jacob, this is what happens

Isn't digital fantastic, I can just delete them.;)

Once we made it in the park, the plan was for me to get FP for Soarin, but on the way it showed only a 20 min wait. Jacob has been wanting to stand in line for those games they have. So I ran after the rest of the gang and they agreed. Guess what happened, NO GAMES!!!!:sad2: Yup, I spoiled that.

We had a nice ride, but were on the third row. There was a little girl next to me that was scared, but once we got going she loved it. I had a great time experiencing the ride through her. I find myself doing that more and more.

After our ride, I went for TT FP's, while Jonas and the kids headed over to Nemo. This was something Kara had never rode. Got my FP's and found that Jonas was trying to use the camera,

Kara thought Nemo was cute and then after that we checked out Crush, another one she hadn't seen.

Would you believe this is all the pics I had taken at this point, don't know what my issue was on this day. Maybe I was just thinking about lunch.

Our FP's weren't good until after 1:00, so we decided to go to lunch. I mentioned my favorite spot and Jonas said ok.:yay: So off we went.

Well if your favorite place for lunch is something we won't guess it can't be an obvious one like Sunshine Seasons. I'm going with Fish and Chips in England.

Sounds like a nice, low-key morning at EPCOT so far.

I'm gonna guess Tangierine Cafe in Morocco for lunch.

Very few pictures and some of them weren't even taken by you! ;)

Hmmmmm - lunch. I'm going along with Jenny's guess and say fish 'n chips in England. :thumbsup2

Jonas doesn't like fish:sad2:, so can't stop in England.

I say it's that place at Wilderness Lodge -- all you can eat meat. :lmao:

Oooh, that would have been good, but sadly no WCC.

It was a nice slow morning, wasn't even crowded. That's a good guess, but not right.

:laughing:Carissa, so true, I have no idea what was wrong with me this day. I normally take about 400 each day.

Jonas booked our January trip.:rotfl2::lmao::woohoo::yay: I'm guessing he went Premium all three nights, but I don't know where we are staying or anything. I've been bugging him that if we are going to eat at the castle he must get that booked. Of course, we didn't realize that by booking a premium we would have to have it all paid by Dec 1.:scared1:

Oh, and Simmerbaggins, my BFF Vickie, called yesterday. She is looking into coming for our girls only weekend in Feb. But I think I will let her post it here when she finalizes the dates. Sounds like it is going to be a very nice weekend.

No one has guessed where we had lunch yet. I won't get another update done until tomorrow, so you still have time to guess again if you want.

Just a little clue...it wasn't in Epcot.

ESPN Club! There's something you like to eat there -- nachos? It's a boat ride away, i think... :confused3 Anyway, somebody's got to guess so you'll go on with this TR!!!

And yes, I've been chomping at the bit today to try to book...!! I've been telling my good news story to everyone -- woo-hoo!!

:)

DING DING DING!!!! We have a winner.

And I'm super excited also.

Vickie was correct. I  the nachos at ESPN. Plus, I like the fact you don't have ADR's at ESPN. We walked to the International Gateway, and I finally seemed to remember that I had a camera.

Made our way to ESPN. Kara had never seen the resorts, so it was a nice little tour for her.

Once at ESPN, we were seated immediately, but in the bar, in the very back corner. I like the main dining room. The pics are kind of dark:

Jacob playing DS

And when I gave him a hard time

The walls were covered with autographed balls, which I thought was cool because I use to help run a sports card shop and I recognized a lot of the names from 15 years ago:

I can't remember what everyone got and I forgot to take pics. Those nachos had my full attention. We realized womens world cup was on and USA was playing so we got the waitress to change our TV to it. So we had a great view of the game. The cool thing, before tip this meal was $46. Not too bad for a Disney meal. Another reason I love to eat at ESPN.

Once we had paid, we headed back to Epcot.

That was a fabulous idea to take a little break out of the parks! Love the Boardwalk area (it's my home resort.) We need to try out the ESPN club!

I had thought of going to ESPN for Keith and so we could do a little resort hopping but I had not heard a lot about it and decided not to try it out...I should have just gone with it!

I have considered just adding tickers for the fun of it! :lmao: I am so envious that you can go so much!! LOL I am thinking a transfer to Orlando is in order...I may speak with my boss tomorrow! :lmao::rotfl2::rotfl:

did someone mentioned nachos?????????????????:woohoo:

Highly recommend it. They have some great drinks too! I just decided to be a good girl on this day.

Transfer Transfer Transfer!!!:rotfl2: I really do enjoy ESPN and when we got there it was empty, but filled up quickly.

Hope you have a ticker soon, maybe Keith will surprise since he ended up enjoying himself. (I hope I'm not getting my TR's mixed up.)

did someone mentioned nachos?????????????????:woohoo:

Of course I did! But I understand you love the wings there.

Hey, I can't see my images, is anyone else having this problem? Can you see them?
