Adventures of a DisneyWORLDholic! Updated1/24 I was an unofficial WDW tour guide.

I have figured out the problem but don't know how to fix it. Sorry folks, but this TR is on hold until me and the Dis figure it out.

Woo-hoo!!! :woohoo: I was right! For once...!!

That is a pretty good price for a Disney meal -- too bad your pictures didn't come out, because I don't recall ever seeing the inside of that place!

I hope you figure it out soon! I'll send a little:wizard: your way.

Thank you. I can do a quick fix on the images through Smugmug but the DH doesn't want me to.:sad2: Guess he feels the Dis should fix it because it is due to the system not liking my Dis name.

Hmmm, well, if you don't get to see my pics soon, maybe we can go there in February.:)

:cool1::woohoo::yay: My pics are back.:woohoo:

I was freaking out because I had just realized what I thought I was going to have to do would require me to repost all of my pics, but it would miss up Jonas' also.:confused3 He wouldn't be happy with me.

Ok, will get another update up in the morning!

We had full bellys and had made it back to Epcot by boat. It was time for our TT FP's, Jonas went over and got M:S passes for the three of us as he would soon be leaving.:sad2:

Can't remember how long the wait was for TT, but we were glad to have the FP's. No pics in line since we moved so quickly, in fact, I don't think we waited at all, got to the training room right away.:goodvibes

Before we knew we were on our test ride

Jacob doesn't really like this ride, so he wasn't very happy that I was asking him to turn around.

Hmm, Jacob always says this ride is too fast, 648 is rather fast. Oh, I think it was 64.8. Keep trying to tell him I go a little faster when we make that drive to WDW.;)

Now it was time to do something I had wanted to do for a very long time, but first didn't know where to go, then never could fit it in, but this time we were doing it.

But first we saw this:

We didn't stop to meet her, since Jonas had previously worked at the military fireschool we know a little bit about fighting fires now. He is a trained fire marshall also. (Just don't mention the grease fire I had.:rotfl:)

We found what we were looking for and got in line. Wasn't too long of a line, but enough that Jacob went and played video games until we were next.

So what were we doing?

Our free 5x7 for having a Disney Visa.:cool1:

The following two I paid for.

The one picture I didn't order, was me hugging Mickey. Why you may ask? The CM actually took a pic of me bending over to hug Mickey, from behind!!!! Not something I wanted to be reminded of.;)

Something else Kara had never done was Kim Impossible. So we had her get our appointed location meet:

Our teammate was really into it and so was Kara:

What should we do before time to help save the world?

Enjoyed your update continuing your EPCOT day!

I always wanted to do the Disney Visa photo, but I can barely get my troupe to agree to the regular Photopass pics, so we haven't done it yet.

I'm 0 for 3 I think on guesses, but I'm going with Sum of All THRILLS. Or maybe Club Cool. Hope I don't go 0 for 5!

Where in the world is your mission? Can't wait to find out!

Ding Ding Ding!!! You got it right. Both answers are correct, and in order.:thumbsup2

Love the Visa pictures. Plus you got three characters. When we did that in 2009 we only got Minnie and Goofy. I hope you get a good KP mission!

I was surprised we got so many characters also. Aren't all the KP missions good? Ok, I have to admit, I didn't care for the Mexico one.:confused3

I plan on doing an update when I get back from taking Jacob to school, but just thought I mention what all has been going on around here. If you see my new ticker, I had to go with the flashing one since I now have 4 trips planned. The Sept one is our MNSSHP trip. The October is the night with Dis friends at MNSSHP and a day at DHS. So excited to get to go to the party twice thise year. It is my favorite event at WDW. I'm going to really miss getting to go after we move.

January is the big belated anniversary trip. Things I know, 3 nights of premium, Castle is booked (I think for breakfast), and seats for La Nouba are reserved, section 203:banana:. I still don't know where we are staying. I know one other meal is booked, but don't know where.

Jonas is really having a hard time planning this. He spent all evening on the phone last night booking 3 things. His call kept getting dropped.:sad2: I know two of the things he booked were La Nouba and the Castle, so have no idea what else was booked.

And my final portion of the flashing countdown ticker is my trip with the BFF, Vickie, Simmerbaggins. We have decided to go Feb 18th. We have a reservation for SSR. The Ducks home. And we may have others coming. When Vickie was telling a friend about her trip, she got all excited and said how she would love to go. Has never been and her husband doesn't like things like that. When I heard this, I thought, why not invite her, so Vickie did. Not sure if she is coming or not, but she may bring her daughter who is 18. I think it will be fun to share the magic with newbies.

Sometime this weekend we are heading to Orlando for one last ride on Star Tours. Jacob isn't happy about it closing and being turned into a 3D ride. But I bet it will be great.

Hope you all have a wonderful and safe Labor Day weekend? Any special plans?

Jonas was going to leave after our photo opportunity, but I told him we should go to Club Cool. He had no problem with this. See, he loves those aluminum cans shaped like a bottle. So off we went. Sorry I didn't take pics, but I did get a great video(just click on the pic):

:rotfl2: I guess this makes me the wicked stepmother.;) She is so right though, it is fine until you swallow. Did you see the lady behind Kara, she knows what is up.

We said our goodbyes to Jonas and made our way over to Sum of All Thrills. Our very first trip to WDW Kara and I did the Build Your Own Rollercoaster at Disneyquest. When I mentioned this, she got all excited.

I let her design our ride:

I think we went upside down 3 or 4 times. I love how they keep asking you if this is ok. We had a great ride. Jacob sat this out, he doesn't really like it.:sad2:

Now it was time for M:S. Jacob loves this ride, especially the orange side. Kara wanted to go on that side also, so I decided to sit this one out. I can't handle spinning. I've done the green side and can tell there is some spinning, so no way am I going on that orange side. Even with FP's it was a long wait. I found a spot to sit in the waiting room. Another lady asked me how long it took because she had been sitting there for an hour. I told it does take awhile even after you are through the main line with all the preshows. Finally her family came out and then my family not too long after. I didn't mind waiting, gave me time to peope watch. I did notice one lady being held up to walk, must have went on that orange side.

At this time I realized that it would have been great if Jonas had gotten a FP using his ticket also, the kids could have gone twice. Have to remember that next time.

Now, I am sure you are wondering what is up with this last picture. As we are walking out of the shop, I dropped my camera.:scared1: I have no idea what happened, just next thing I knew, it was bouncing on the ground, so that shot was my relief to see it still worked.

Now we headed over to the World Showcase. It was mission time. But Kara's feet were really starting to bother her. They were so bad she couldn't stand still.

We ended up in Norway:

If you have done Norway, you know what happens here, but I don't want to spoil it for everyone.

Now one thing I realized while on this mission, they just are not fun when you are hot. I had actually noticed this last year on our trip with Vickie, but now I knew I had enough of standing around with this little phone. So I told Jacob we should go do other things and he turned the phone in. We will go do some missions when it is cooler.

Next stop was China

Kara had never seen the movie, so we had a little educational stop and also the Terra Cotta Soldiers. Funny, she had been to WDW two previous times for a week each time, and we didn't even know about a lot of this stuff then.

As we left China, we ran into this:

You would think I would learn what time they bring out the big ball because this is the fourth time I have been held up by it. Still very cool to see it coming out.

We made our way over to America. Kara had never seen the American Adventure and it would give her time to rest her feet.

By the time we got to Morroco, poor Kara could barely move, so we decided to head back to the room by way of boat.

The normal boat dock on the Future World side was closed, so we had to go through Italy by way of America:

On the way out of the park we stopped to pick up the photo and made our way to the bus stop. I really was beginning to think that poor Kara wasn't going to make it.

We spent another evening by the pool and packing. The next day was going to be our last day, which park should we go to?

Great video! Kara is a great sport and she actually had a pretty mild reaction to the infamous Beverly.:rotfl: I agree about the heat with the KP missions. We didn't even try them this past summer. When we go in January we'll probably do a few. I hope Kara's feet feel better.

Poor Kara! What is up with feet and Epcot?? :confused3 I feel the same about the orange side and let the kids have at it! I do not want to risk my whole day being ruined, and I wouldn't know until too late!

So cool that you have 4 trips planned and they sound like so much fun. Each one a little different to add variety!!

I was going to ask about Kara's feet, too! I hope she got to feeling better. I know year before last, I learned to trade out my shoes every day or twice a day -- otherwise, I'd rub a blister somewhere.

And that KP guy was creepy looking! I agree with you on the missions, though. The girls only did one this year, and had no enthusiasm for any more due to the heat.

I was amazed at how careful Kara's face was when she tasted the Beverly -- I thought she was going to say she liked it! :lmao:

Kara's a great girl, or I guess I should say young woman. I don't know what is up with the poor girls feet.

Exactly why I don't do the Orange side. I'm guessing it is the same "movie". Kara's feet bothered her every day, but on this day she had worn some gladiator sandals.:scared1:

I'm really looking forward to these trips and you are so right, all four are very different. And I will be sure to report on each and every one.

It didn't matter what shoes she had on, her feet hurt. The first day she had on tennis shoes, and her feet hurt then to.

I thought she was going to like it at first also. I have heard of a few liking it.
We are off to DHS tomorrow. Not sure how long we will be there, just realized it is an EMH morning day, but the main goal is that last ride on Star Tours. Update tomorrow or Sunday. Have a great weekend!

Hi Melissa!

All caught up now. Sounds like you had a really good day in Epcot, and a lovely lunch. Will need to keep ESPN in mind for our next trip!

Highly recommend it!:thumbsup2 Hmm, wonder if the next trip will be planned "bounceback"?

The next morning, I got up and got myself dressed, loaded up the car, got me some coffe and then woke the kids up.

I had chosen AK on this day since Jonas wasn't around, he doesn't care for AK.:sad2: I think it is because he doesn't take the time to enjoy it.

The first thing we did:

Yup, the two week adventure through the safari. Now, why is that my first picture within AK? Oh yeah, I sent the kids toward the safari and I went for FP's for Everest. It's a walk, but so much easier when you are alone, especially when everyone else in the park is taking a leisurely stroll with 4 or 5 people across the pathways. But back to the safari, I love how there always seems to be one guy with his mouth open:

If you have read previous TR's of mine, you know I have a habit of taking pics of butts:

I haven't changed. I don't mean to, just always seems to happen.

This pic looks like Mom is protecting baby:

I think this little guy is just a cutie:

After our trip through the Safari, which was sadly shortened by many days, we decided to go look at more animals.

This guy is always up to something even though he is laying down:

At this point I lost Jacob.:scared1: But quickly found him, he had found a CM to listen to and was getting some education.:thumbsup2

Jacob wanted to play the drums for a moment:

Does he look excited? We are all hot and tired at this point.

Since we were so hot we decided to go cool off, I hadn't taken pics of the last room before you board KRR, so got these pics:

I think we waited 40 minutes for this ride, which I know was crazy but it was the only way because FP's were too late in the day, we were needing to get home to let our Bubblegum out. I always picture her sitting with her legs crossed, "Mom, I gotta go!":guilty: I sure was glad that once in line I realized we didn't go through all of the buildings. Even the FP lines was backed up this day. They were rotating filling up the bridge with the FP line and then standby line it was so bad. I like when they do it that way instead of letting all of the FP go on, unless I have a FP.

I hadn't taken pics of the ride after it was over, so I grabbed my camera real quick,

Don't they look happier. We didn't get too wet, which was nice.
