We gave alms for about 15 minutes - the monks move pretty quickly but there are a lot of them.

Yes the waterfall was gorgeous but VERY slippery. We had a range of shoes on but both the moss and the soil were treacherous. It as quite crowded but since this is the Easter period I expect the holiday crowds are bigger than normal. The road to the waterfall has recently been improved and our local guide said that had increased to popularity as well.

Ok so Cambodia is definitely one place I would have preferred to have been on an ABD tour - sounds awesome

It was such a hard decision for us to choose between Laos and Cambodia. I hope we get another chance to go to Laos in the near future I really want to get there before the masses arrive!

What a shame you were too busy stressing to enjoy the temple properly. But a relief that you found the boys safe and sound in the end.

It was just starting to heat up when we were in Cambodia a couple of months ago now. It was pretty intense at that point, I can only imagine how unbearable the heat is now!

One of my worst nightmare is losing DS, which I have managed to do twice.

The funny thing about losing the boys is that as far as they were concerned, they are not lost at all - I was lost.
