I think my 6 year old son would love visiting the Adventurer's Club during the day, but I'm wondering if there are any actors or shows going on during the day/worth the long walk?

The Adventurers Club - like the rest of Pleasure Island - is open from 7 PM to 2 AM.

Thanks for the information. I guess it's just the shops on Pleasure Island that are open during the day as I read that they are open all day (and thus, I figured the whole place was open all day).

Pardon my ignorance, but is Downtown Disney within walking distance that there is enough to do if I take my 6 year old to Adventurers Club at 7 (and are there any shows at 7--I recall that I received a pin during a show in the library many years ago?)

Yes, you can walk to PI from DTD. Unless Adventurer's Club is booked for a private party that evening, it should open with the rest of the clubs at 7. You may want to keep in mind that AC is essentially a bar with more adult-oriented entertainment.

We (me and DD9)were in Disney the first week in November and went to AC for the first time, what a blast..... It was so much fun. There were about 10 kid there we left about 9pm when it became more of an adult atmosphere. We would definately go back.... My DD9 loved it!

The club opens at 7 unless it is leased out to a private party for part of the night. Performances begin around 7:30.

Pleasure Island's shops are no longer open during the day. The entire complex now opens at 7 PM. The admission cost is about $22. Adult and child admissions are the same price. Admission is included in the Ultimate Park Hopper passes and on the Premium Annual Pass. Park Hopper Plus options can also be used for admission. Sometimes, there will be a "sneak preview" where guests are admitted to look around between opening and around 9 PM. Sneak preview guests are given wristbands that are different from those given persons who have paid admission. When the sneak preview period is over, guests who wish to stay longer must leave the island and pay admission to return.
