Advent Calendars in Disney ??

Hi All,
Does anybody recall if Americans use advent calendars?If so,have you seen them for sale on Disney property??

We arrive on the 1st Dec and didnt know whether to take our own?

Advent calendars are not very big in the U.S. Last year a store called World Market had them with little chocolate pieces in the windows. There are a number of World Market stores around Orlando including one near the Florida Mall at the corner of OBT and Sand Lake Road and one up 535 in Winter Garden at the corner of 535 and the TOLL 429 expressway.

The LEGO Store in Downtown Disney has one with tiny Lego pieces....saw it at the store this past Wednesday evening.

Thanks,I dont drive,so am reliant on it being in Disney property - I like sound of lego pieces,but think my kids may be disappointed as not chocolatre!!
May take one with us then.

If it has to be chocolate Advent calendars then take one with you. Lets face it, only Cadbury's do decent chocolate!

The first time we went we took them with us. I wish I'd not bothered because the last thing the kids thought about at Disney was their advent calenders. After about 5 days I was saying 'are you opening these or shoud I?

I,ve never seen any for sale anywhere, but you can bet if you don't take them they will be asking.
The trouble with us Mums is that we spend so much time organising to make everything perfect for the kids and half of the time they don't give a monkeys!
Or maybe its just my kids...

No it`s not just your kids Disneyday,mine are the same.
I myself was thinking of taking advent calenders to bu have decided against the idea as the kids are gonna have so much more on there minds

I've just come back and there are advent calenders there - sell them at Christmas shops in Downtown disney, MK etc. I also saw one with chocolates but can't remember where.

Anyway, if you leave them at home at least they'll have something to open when they get back.
Not that 2 weeks or so of choccie is any consolation for being back in England!

I've just come back and there are advent calenders there - sell them at Christmas shops in Downtown disney, MK etc. I also saw one with chocolates but can't remember where.

When the wiife and I honeymooned at WDW in Decemebr 2005 the christmas shop in downtown disney sold the chocolate advent calenders.

Theres a shop in the UK at Epcot that sells lots of Cadburys stuff-I wonder if they would do them? Tell you something else you can't get there-choccie easter eggs. Weird uh?

The shop in "Germany" sells some very traditional ones ( non chocolate) we bought some in September
