I would call them and see if they have a drop box in place for returns or if they work with their sister company Hertz for returns.
angiedora,
I agree completely with gmeh1.
If you have to wait until 5:00 a.m. to BEGIN the car rental return process (with the possibility that a number of other customers will be ahead of you), and you then still have to go through security and go to your gate, you run a significant risk of getting to the gate too late.
Keep in mind that a 6:00 a.m. flight does not mean that you can arrive at the gate at 6:00 a.m. For example, here's what American Airlines has on its website:
"You must be at your gate for boarding at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure time. Reservations are subject to cancellation if you are not checked in and at the departure gate at least 15 minutes prior to departure."
My guess is that the hours on the Advantage website are the hours for the Advantage counters in the terminal (for arriving passengers who want to begin their car rentals). And it's also likely that you can return your car 24 hours a day by leaving it in a designated area, recording your mileage and gas level, and leaving the keys in an after-hours return box OR that there's a way to return the car to Advantage's parent company, Hertz.
But don't go by my guesses. As gmeh1 suggested, you should call Advantage at Orlando International:
