I am planning my families first ever trip to DW. We won't be going until the fall of 2020 I know that's very far away but I don't know if we will ever get a chance to go again and I want it to be awesome. I'm planning on staying for 12 nights with 8 days at the Disney parks. I see they have 25% off on tickets for Canadians right now. I have heard that tickets don't expire. Is it a good idea for me to purchase the tickets now, or should I wait for a better packaged deal with hotel included. There will be 5 of us and my kids will be 9,12, and 14 years old at that time.

That's a nice discount and if Mousesavers is correct, the voucher that you will get is good for regular Magic Your Way tickets. You just need to provide a Canadian passport for each person for whom you are redeeming the voucher.

I think that the bigger question would be more along the lines as to whether it is a good idea to spend so much money now for tickets that you will not be using for 3 or more years. A lot can change in that amount of time and you cannot get a refund on tickets that you've purchased. What if you need that money for something more important?

And like you already mentioned, Disney could have a very attractive package deal that you would not be able to take advantage of if you already have tickets.

My own feelings are that you keep your cash fluid for long-term plans. But I know that I would have a hard time passing up a 5% discount on tickets.
