Hi,

I'm checking into a trip to WDW in late August. Our schools don't start until after Labor Day, and I thought that this might be an ok time to visit crowd-wise. I was also expecting the flights to be a bit cheaper during the dog-days of late August.

Currently I'm not seeing any good deals, but I'm still 3 1/2 months out. Does anyone know when I might start to see some better rates? Or maybe a better question might be, will I see some better rates?

I'm flying out of Albany, NY if possible, although I have seen some good rates out of Stewart Airport on a small airline called Allegiant.

Thanks!

Take my advice with a grain of salt but from everything I have been reading and the price of fuel going sky high (pun intended) I would buy the most reasonable fare you can find as soon as possible.

I could be wrong but better to be safe than sorry .....

We are going August 16-23, also flying out of Albany(we're up near Lake George). We booked our air last week through US Air, $254.70 r/t each, change of planes once each way.
I didn't want to wait for a possible sale with SW, and was nervous about prices going up. Other airports have had cheaper flights/carriers, but adding in parking charges (higher than Albany's), leaving in the middle of the night for an early morning flight or getting a hotel, made it more expensive for us.
Good luck in whatever you decide, and have a great trip!!
