Advance check in questions

We're arriving on February 23rd and staying at Coronado Springs. I see on MDE that I can check in already. Is there any particular advantage or disadvantage to checking in now or waiting until closer to our trip? Any reason to NOT do advance check in?

No disadvantages at all.
Advantages are
You may get a text with your room number so you can skip going to the front desk if you want to
You can click a couple of boxes to give them some general room request parameters
You can also let them know if you'd like a room ready early, above your requests
If you are not arriving via MDE you can inform them of the time you plan to arrive
If you haven't assigned a PIN to your account you can do it at this time

Oh, the one item to note, your doing online check in has no impact on their assigning your room. It will be done approx 5 days before you arrive, no matter what you do.
