Adults that Dress for Halloween

Do any of you dress up just to give out candy to trick or treaters?? DH thinks I am crazy but I LOVE it... It's the one and only day I can be a kid and get away with it...

You BET!! I even dress waaaaaay up each Halloween to go into the office. Last year I was Maleficent with green face paint and Maleficent's horns and even the staff with her pet raven, Diablo. I am the only one in my office that dresses up, but I don't care (and it is always good for a laugh from my office mates)

my whole family does. This year we were planning on doing a haunted house in the garage. I think we'll have to divide it somehow for younger and older kids.

Heck, yeah! My entire childhood and teen years, my parents wouldn't let me dress up, go trick or treating or celebrate Haloween because "it's the devil's holiday." I've got lost time to make up here!

I love dressing up for Halloween! Last year I bought the Evil Queen from Snow White costume, and it was *so* much fun! I remember walking down the very-crowded street in my full Evil Queen regalia, and having a little kid look up at me, with big wide eyes, and say, "Whoaaaaaaa!"

Are you kidding!? That is one of the reasons why I'm a Kindergarten teacher ... the perfect excuse to dress up and be one of the kids on Halloween as well as enjoy every other holiday just as much as my kiddies do!!! I dress up in school (I get ready during lunch) and wear my costume home and spend the rest of the day in it!!!! This year, I'm going to be Cruella. Last year, I was Kim Possible and the year before that, Harry Potter.

Depending on the weather I am either a pumpkin or a lion (got to keep warm on the cold nights!)

I made my costume, a purple wizzard's robe and cape.. I even have made a flower halo ring with long colorful curly ribbon down the back !!

I can't wait.... Sunday can not get here fast enough !!!

yes...trick or treat is the day BEFORE Halloween here because we have a HUGE Halloween parade on the 31st... every year..

I don’t dress up to hand out candy at home but at work I do. As part of the community event portion of our jobs we help organize the Trick-or-treating in our town. The entire downtown office district shuts down and heads outdoors to hand out candy. This year I will be the hunter, coworker 1 cowgirl, coworker 2 deer, coworker 3 cow. Its fun and kids like it when they see adults dressed up in costumes also.
