Adults Night Out

I've checked my itinerary, and know that some of you would like time out w/ the adults, but don't know what to do with the kids, or those too young.

I've thought about this and offered this before, but no takers. Now that it is getting closer and all, thought that I could supervise a few hours with some of your kids. I'd want to do this on Wed evening after the Illuminations at Epcot after the welcome reception.

What I'd have in mind would be a swim at the ASMo pool, perhaps a snack, and even maybe the arcade. If there isn't too many kids, we could go back to our room, or use the tables at the Food court and play some board type games. Tia, since you are staying at our resort, my 16 could go to your room w/ yours when they tired and put them to bed and stay w/ them till you get there.

If anyone is interested, PM me.

Here are some of my requirements for leary caring parents.
I am a 40 ear old foster parent for the state of Oklahoma. I have an OSBI as well as an FBI background check every year. I am CPR trained, First Aid and MAT trained. My oldest daughter is 16, and is enrolled in Earlt Childhood Development classes at our local Vo-Tech. She loves kids and is very patient w/ them.

That's a very thoughtful offer. Obviously you are a very kind person.

Thanks. I just know that my DD's would be cool with this, and w/o my DH with me, I wouldn't feel like going out, BUT I know the importance of sharing time with your partner. I love the timeI spend w/ my DH, and if I can give a few folks something they've not had at WDW, then just that's just the type of person I am. Now I'm talking only till about midnight though. Don't think I could get up early enough if it was later than that.

I was in our High School's play last year along w/ my DD and DS. The kids in the play loved having me around cause I always brought snacks for the hungry souls at practice. My DH always grumbled that couldn't someone else take snacks? But I enjoyed doing it, so I did.

Gosh Gerri....that is an awfully generous offer. And as much as I want to jump all over this one, I think I'll sit back a while and see if there are any single parents (besides yourself, of course :) ) who might need to take advantage of this more than I do.

I will be fortunate enough to have my DH with me, and he has already accepted the 'nanny position' I had open...LOL :D

And of course I'm thinking of you NurseKim... :) :) :) Your sister sure doesn't need to be babysat, but she might enjoy hanging out with Gerri's DD(s). ???? Hunh? ;) ;) ;) What do ya think? :D

Thank you Gerri. :) Tucking this into my thinking cap as well. :D

Wow, Gerri. How generous of you. I will not have any children down there, but
thanks for the offer!:)
