I'm soooo jealous! The Beach Club is amazing!

So happy for you that you're staying at BC!
We've never stayed there but BWV is our favorite resort, and that area in general is the BEST
Yaasss! Epcot is my favorite park and I loved the Boardwalk area when I checked it out one night (I just am not ready to stay at the resort itself because of scary clown pool).
IMO walking to and from EPCOT can't be beat; sometimes DH and I will walk in just for breakfast at Les Halles, but my favorite is walking back slowly after Illuminations when the whole Boardwalk area is lit up
I fully expect that when I exit Epcot through the International Gateway, at least one night I'll go the long way around the lake and enjoy the Boardwalk area on my way back to the BC.
Plus I'm planning on my first night to have dinner at the Yachtsman, then probably after head over to the Boardwalk then, too.
In fact, DH is so stuck on that area he is NOT really looking forward to our split stay in Jan. at the Poly/AKL........but I am!! Its our first time at both and while you can tell above how much I love BW, I've been wanting to try other resorts. He says he's going with an open mind but he's old lol, so I think he'll remain stuck on BWV.
I loved some of the resorts I've stayed in, but I'm trying very hard not to have any repeats until I've stayed in the ALL!

I am so glad that you were able to get the Beach Club for your Oct 2016 trip.
It had always been one of our favorite resorts and the one we have stayed at the most. We will try to get a bounce back for next Oct when we are staying there next month.

It is amazing that you can get the BC for less than rack rate at POR. You've gotten a lot of great deals for resorts and tickets, you lucky girl.
I've been very fortunate, I know. Sometimes I feel like I'm being too braggy when I post about it here, but I'm just so HAPPY, and my real life friends and family's eyes just sort of glaze over when I try to share my Disney excitement with them.

You must, you must! I did this one night during my April trip, and it was absolutely lovely.
My customer was back in the store several times before I retired. And she never failed to ask, each time, if I had elastic around my waist ...

Me either!!! I've only stayed in one other Deluxe resort, and that was Animal Kingdom Lodge, which was AWESOME, but also about as far away from the parks as you can get without leaving the Disney property. I'm reeeeeally excited to be able to just scoot on over to Epcot for F&W!

I'm dying to stay at the GF, too! I have this
insane split-stay planned for a week in 2021 for the 50th anniversary, where I take the "Monorail Crawl" to new levels: I'm planning 2 nights at the Contemporary, 2 nights at the Polynesian, and 3 nights at the Grand Floridian.
