Adult wishing to get kids meal on DP??

This may have been asked before but I could not find it. Would I be able to use one of my adult dining credits in exchange for a meal from the kid's menu?? Just say I was really in the mood for chicken fingers but they weren't available for adults, could I order them from the kids menu but still use my dining credit? Just wanted to ask in advance.

I will have kids with me so we could always swap meals after they've been brought to the table but I just wanted to ask because I am a very picky eater & sometimes it's hard to be adventurous especially when you're really hungry

If you're going to switch with one of your kids, then you're not really using an adult credit to get a kid's meal. If ALL of you are going to get kid's meals, then you would need to use an adult credit for one of them.

I'm assuming you have free dining, but if not, using an adult credit that is "worth" about $17 (QS meal) for a $6 kid's meal is not a very good financial decision. Switch with your kids or pay OOP.

This happened to us sometimes with our older kids. Since Disney thinks 10 and up as an adult, it makes it a little tricky. What we found is we just ordered what we wanted and never had a problem. The only thing we didn't 'try' was to order an 'adult' meal for a kid (under 10). I am guessing that would not fly but who knows....maybe even that would work.

They aren't going to give you a hard time but like the above poster states, you don't want to pay for a meal if it is not a good value. Save that credit for another use on another day and simply pay for the kids meal
