Adult trip: Boardwalk Villas or Beach Club Villas???

For adults only I would recommend BW less kids and it has nicer quiet pools.

Own and love BCV and stay often.
Don't own BWV but stay often.

BCV is noisier/much more children but literally steps away from Epcot and Skyliner. Easy food when raining outside.

BUT, love BWV, Adult DD's fave when we travel together a lot.
- thermostat more controllable.....important when BCV stupid cold air blower goes constantly on me or DD. Even husband who likes it cold stood on a chair to figure out how to change it a few weeks ago with a cardboard to block. It is always annoying.
- love the fan in one bedroom when DD wants it hot in the living room pull out area. BCV took out fan.
- love the Jacuzzi in one bedroom. BCV took out.
- unlike others, I prefer the Housekeeping staff and also the front desk at BWV over BCV. Seem more competent in my interactions with them.

BWV wins by a nose in my book. Wish I owned points there.

Love them both but like the rooms better at BWV. Hope you can find something this late
good luck and enjoy!

I’ve always been a die hard boardwalk fan, since we joined dvc there in 1996, but I’ve been finding it hard to defend my stance that boardwalk is better than beach club lately. Boardwalk had the edge when you used to be able to use the yacht beach pool while staying at boardwalk, but that is no longer allowed, so now boardwalks slightly better location is superseded by beach clubs far superior pool (best in Disney world). Boardwalk has a shorter walk to Hollywood studios and far better views. Beach club was an after thought that was just shoved in a parking lot when the boardwalk villas were so popular and they wanted to add more dvc villas to the area, so the rooms don’t really have a view of much. The location is nearly identical though. Slight difference in the rooms that I’ve noticed: no ceiling fans at beach club, and I have been able to hear the mechanics of the elevators in every beach club villa I’ve stayed in for some reason. I’ve heard both of those complaints from others too. Obviously super minor complaints. Still one of my top favorite resorts for sure.
Have fun!

You can't go wrong with either resort - both are ideal in terms of location, and they are easy to walk between if you prefer one's restaurants over the other. With adults, I'd lean towards BWV because Stormalong Bay pool at BCV gets packed with families.

PPs are correct in that its highly unlikely there will be availability at either resort this late, if you're planning for March 2020. March is Spring Break time, and BCV is one of the smallest DVC resorts and also a very popular one. It books up among the fastest. When you look at the price calculator on David's, it simply shows the cost and not actual availability.

I love the Epcot resorts. BC and BW are both amazing but I would go with BWV for an adult trip. It has a more adult vibe.

Beach Club has way more small children because of the pool. It is also much harder to find seats at the pool. BWV is about midway between Epcot and DHS. Boardwalk has better views. We own points at BWV for a reason and it is by far our favorite resort and we have stayed at most of them.
