Adult souvineer ideas please!

Sorry - double post.
My bad.
Sorta.... and sorta sloooooow boards. ;)

DH and I went for the first time together for our 5th anniversary in October. Our souvenirs included:

  • WL frame since that is where we stayed
  • MM dish towels for our kitchen
  • magnetic frames - one of M&M smooching (for a picture of us) and one of all the Disney dogs (for a picture of our dog)
  • POTC hoodie for me
  • our refillable mug from WL
  • an Aladdin frame (our first movie date)

On our last visit our family had our silhouettes cut out in EPCOT...near France. This year we are having caricatures done.

Every place we travel we try to get:

a picture frame and/or photo album (gotta store those pics someplace!)

a Christmas ornament--it's so fun to unbox our ornaments each year and remember our trips

We went to a resort in the Wisconsin Dells over the summer and their ornaments were outrageously priced ($25+), so we bought a fridge magnet ($3.99) and glued ribbon to it--instant ornament!

Oh, this last trip we made in December, I purchased a Mickey Icon cookie cutter. It was so fun for our Christmas cookies! Of course it was HUGE, but fun to decorate. Each cookie tin we shared then had a 'hidden Mickey' inside for all of our friends!

Christmas ornaments (we like to have them personalized with the date)
magnet (from each resort we have stayed)
watchs (DH picked two out for me on each of our last trips)

Mrs. Disney Ron

I purchase a coffee mug on every vacation.

I like coffee mugs, too. There are always some to commemorate the year or the theme of the year (I still have my Remember the Magic mug from 1997!).

Christmas ornaments are a good idea, too.

And DH likes tees.

Great thread (I'm getting some ideas).

I did the pick a pearl in Japan and got a great necklace!
I bought a set of shot glasses of all the main rides at Epcot.
Tigger bottle openers :)
Key chains
Photo albums for all the pictures i took.

hope those ideas help

When DH & I went to WDW for the first time in 94 he bought me a great pen at the CR gift shop. It has Minnie ears/with bow on the top, it has a very nice weight to it and writes beautifully.

When we are at Epcot on Sat we are giving DD a pick a pearl and setting from Japan, I just might have to get a matching one.

Love to get ornaments and pins too and DD has quiet a stuffed Minnie collection going (24 at last count, I got her first one for a baby shower gift).

I love to get an ornament, and a magnet frame. My first trip probably 15 years ago, I bought a mickey mouse watch which I still wear every day.

Last trip I got a mini key chain photo album and just love it. I printed the little index size pics off my computer and they fit perfectly, and I can go on a little trip down memory lane any time I want to.

My son also got into the antenna toppers and we have a few for the holidays. Pretty inexpensive too.

Have fun.

I always buy a calendar for my office. I never look at each month until I turn the calendar (does that makes sense?) That way I have a little surprise at work the beginning of each month. My Disneyland calendar ended in Dec (:guilty: ) but I still keep it up, I just pin it so the picture for each month is showing, not the actual calendar. I will be getting a new WDW calendar in April, even though almost half the year will be over. It's tradition.

I'm also planning on doing the Pick a Pearl at Epcot this year. I have never done it before. There is a great thread on the Theme Parks board all about it, with pictures and prices :thumbsup2
