I've just accepted that the Wish isn't for me. I agree about the adult pool area being a real disappointment. Frankly, the pool areas in general don't look particularly exciting. The dining is also just too much for me (I really don't want to eat dinner with The Avengers). With rotational dining not being assigned until you're on the ship, there's really no way to schedule around avoiding those locations (other than eating at Cabanas, though they've said nothing about Cabanas...). Even the staterooms -- while they look luxurious -- just strike me as a little too in your face.
I much prefer the subtly and elegance of the other ships, especially the Dream and the Fantasy, but this is the direction
DCL is moving in. The Wish will work really well in the Bahamas as a companion to a WDW trip but place her (or a sister ship) in Europe or Alaska and I don't think it works as well. Thankfully, we're still decades away from that. While I'll reserve judgement until she debuts, I'm also not spending $5,000 on a cruise that I'm skeptical about.
