Adult pool lovers like me, are you insanely disappointed with the Wish's design??

I have been waiting so long to see what they came up with, after hopefully hearing all of our requests. None of them came true for me, in fact it was completely ignored. Are they even serious, on a day at sea, trying to get more than 5 people into this new pool?? What were they thinking. There are 2 hot tubs beside this infinity "pool", with zero lounge chairs for after swimming. I don't get it. Did they completely minimize the entire "adult" section to almost nothing? What are your thoughts?
(And yes, my husband and I love going by ourselves, after raising three children and still love all things Disney, so really really love the adult pool, so miss the one on the Magic and Wonder, so much room and loved the lounging area)

I thought the same thing. While I do agree the area near cove cafe is small, there is what looks to be another section of what I am assuming will be an adults only area. Look on the deck plans forward deck 14. Will be situated above the concierge sundeck which is usually a quiet space from my experiences. I agree it isnt a lot of space, but I'm happy that there seems like there will be a good amount of sun space in the adult areas they do have.

Let me clarify, I'm all about swimming (more like wading vs doing laps, I'm realistic lol) and pool real estate. This is practically zero. I don't care that there's more sun space, I do care that there's space to actually enjoy a pool (like the Magic and Wonder). It will be a living nightmare trying to get into that tiny space on a day at sea, it will leave alot of adults not wanting to come back again.

It does look really small there. Looking at the deck plans it does look like there is another sun deck area on a small deck above it. But still would have been nice if the pool area was bigger.

Correct the forward sundeck is Concierge only.

Sorry there is a small Concierge only sundeck but I am not sure what is on Deck 14 its not labeled at this point so it might be an adult only area as well?

I am surprised but will wait to see actual pictures of the areas to make final judgement. I also thought overall the pool space wasn't that large either for just general families although it was more split up.

I think the forward sundeck on 13 is concierge only. you can see a little blue structure behind the small dip pools/hot tubs which I presume will be the covered stairs leading up from the level 12 concierge lounge.

It seems to me that the deck and pool area on 14 would be for general use. It doesnt look like it has any ties to concierge areas and I feel like it would be labeled as so on the deck plans like it is on deck 13!

Of course, could always be wrong here, but thats how I am perceiving it!

Not just the pool area. The whole ship....Unless there's a surprise reveal for one of the "More Magic Coming..." areas on the deck plan at the DCL website, it looks like there's no more after-hours areas for adults only.

The Deck 13 area is labeled as "Private Concierge Sun Deck" but the deck 14 one isn't labelled, thats why I asked. If there is THAT much space dedicated to concierge and a tiny pool for the other adults, this boat is going to be a hard pass from me.

I think reality vs computer rendering will be different. It looks intimate but on a ship this size I am guessing it will be a bigger area when done

I'm pretty sure they presented what they call their "adult pool". UGH. I don't think they'll be another one somewhere else. Shocking that they didn't think that was important.

The adults area is likely going to be on deck 5 in some arrangement. Senses is on that deck and other than Edge and Frozen Restaurant there isn't much there labeled. It also makes sense since Luna is attached to that area which I would suspect is where nighttime Adult shows will be located.

I'm thinking the "Luna" area might be used as adults only at night. Might be used like the current D-Lounge family areas during the day and transform into adults only areas during the night for the typical adult only gameshows/performances/fun and maybe some new entertainment options as well. Obviously just speculation at this point.

They don't do an outdoor hybrid now with the top deck. It's adult only. I don't know that they would change it.

But I agree with others who said computer renderings make it difficult to tell size. What we saw in the presentation was not actually there. It was the computer renderings. Having watched things go from renderings to reality with some Celebrity ships, i know that you can't really judge size from them.

Not having a deck 13 area like on the fantasy will be a dealbreaker for us. That is where we spend our week. If the adult only area is just one area like on the magic, the wish will be a one and done for us. We will just stick to the fantasy.

we enjoy the satellite falls area. looks like it didnt get included in the design
