I was just woldering whether its ok for adults to order from childrens menus? I have a really small appetite and tend to eat small amounts throughout the day as opposed to sitting down for 3 big meals. If thats not an option is it ok to order a starter as a main course if you know what I mean?

Probably not at the table service meals, but I think you could at the counter service without a problem. I order kids meals for my kids and no one says a thing and they are sitting down with DH at the table while I order. I also ordered kids breakfast plates for myself at the food court at AKL because I am not a huge breakfast fan:) Plus I love the mickey waffles too!

Generally it's not an issue. There is a current thread discussing some of the points of ordering off of a child's menu here. http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=2114306

The exception, obviously, is a buffet or fixed price meal. In those cases you'll pay the adult price regardless of how much you eat.

Hope this helps :goodvibes:

My MIL orders from the kids menu at the counter service restaurants all the time...she has a small appetite too! We've never had a problem. :)

Technically I believe there is a sign that says something like "for guests under ten." The reality is that particularly at CS places, you won't have a problem, and I'd think table service places - except buffets - will generally accomodate you.
